Sky Rider Air Square from Wicked Uncle – Is It as Fun as It Looks

This year has already been a hit with the sunshine (where did all the April showers go?) So if you are looking for something fun to head outside with and play with friends and family, then it is well worth getting to know all about the Sky Rider Air Square from Wicked Uncle.
Now, don’t be fooled by its quirky square shape – this thing can really fly.
First Impressions
The Air Square looks like a futuristic frisbee with corners, and that alone had me curious. It’s lightweight, boldly coloured, and feels nice and sturdy without being clunky. The rim is made of soft rubber, so no need to worry about the dreaded “flying toy to the face” scenario we’ve all been there, and it’s not pretty. I still remember an incident of a swing ball to the face when I was a kid, owch!
Out in the Wild (aka the Back Garden)
I took it out for a spin and wow. This thing soars. You can easily get it gliding across a field or beach with a decent throw (honestly, keeping it in the garden was hard when it’s so small). It claims to go up to 100 metres, and honestly, I believe it. It might take a few tries to master your technique, but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s all smooth flying from there. Apparently, you can even learn some trick shots as well!
It’s great fun for kids aged 8+, but let’s be real, the grown-ups were loving it just as much. It’s one of those rare outdoor toys that I don’t see ending up in the shed after five minutes. Bonus points for being super easy to spot in the grass, thanks to the bright colour.
