You begin to notice a distinct change in your appearance in your 30s because of hormonal changes that begin in this decade. Good skin after age 30 requires a little more attention and TLC than it does in your 20s. Moisturise everyday
In order to prevent dry, flaky skin and dullness, it’s important to develop the practice of moisturising your skin as often as possible. Mostly in the morning and at night. Moisturise immediately after getting out of the shower or after washing your face to lock in the moisture. Check out products that contain glycerin, or hyaluronic acid, which helps the skin hold on to moisture.
Try your favourite type of moisturizing products: creams, lotions, soaps. From these products, you can choose the ones that won’t dry your skin but will help restore the skin, and also keep it from ageing. For example, use soaps made of honey, because honey helps to heal scrapes, cuts and burns and also retains and draws moisture into the skin, or use goat milk soap, which is also a good example and can help you easily get rid of unpleasant skin issues because it includes A, E, C vitamins, minerals, such as zinc, copper, iron, etc.
So it’s important to research all the ingredients before choosing the right product for your skin type.

Use an antioxidant serum
Antioxidants, particularly vitamins C and E, work wonders in combating the free radicals caused by sun rays and ageing. Vitamin C is not only an antioxidant, but it also brightens and firms the skin by increasing collagen production. Skincare specialists agree that sufficient antioxidants will aid healing and prevent additional skin damage. A perfect example is a BL+ serum made by Blue Lagoon: this product has anti-ageing and skin cell renewal properties, thanks to the BL+ science behind it.
Incorporate a cream for the eye area
You may be dissatisfied with a variety of skin conditions around your eyes, such as puffiness, dryness, or discolouration. Although some people begin using eye creams as early as 18, you should buy one if you’ve not already once you approach your 30s. Distinct effectiveness and a combination of components are needed for your eye area since the skin is lighter and hence more delicate than other parts of the face.
While thinking about the eye area you might also want to think about your lashes, using something like the Borboleta serum can help you onto the path of fuller and longer-looking lashes.

Use SPF for your skin
The skin’s rapid ageing results from sun damage, which also causes wrinkles and fine lines. An SPF 30 or higher sunblock with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection is an excellent choice for protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Don’t forget to shield your eyes from the sun when outside by donning a wide-brimmed hat and glasses. During the summer or even in the cold weather, apply your sunscreen.
Use a nourishing mask
If you’re serious about improving your skin’s appearance, try using a mask on a regular basis, say weekly, to get even better results. Make sure to look for products that promise to tighten the skin or brighten, lift, and smoothen the complexion.
Lastly, a person’s hands are a telltale sign of their age. Due to their constant exposure to the environment and lack of care, hands are perhaps the most battered part of the body. Dry, cracking skin or eczema may result from washing your hands often; so, make sure you don’t overlook their care.

The most important part is sunscreen, preferably microionized zinc oxide
I have had to wear factor 50 on my face for the last 14 years due to a skin condition and it has definitely slowed down the aging process of my face skin. I haven’t worn any SPF on my hands though, and they have really aged!
I should really be better with my SPF I have to admit I am awful at putting it on.
