    1. I hope you manage to find one closeby! I know we also have a pottery place close that does similar with painting pottery and prosecco.

  1. I love doing simple but special things at home by cooking a lovely meal and enjoying a glass of bubbly. However this year I am hoping to take advantage of an M&S dine in (far less washing up!)

  2. Lovely ideas but it is often the little things that count. My husband brings me a cup of tea every morning while I am still in bed, very much appreciated

  3. Great ideas! We always enjoy going for walks in the countryside on the weekend. Exploring new places together keeps things fresh xx

  4. Nice ideas of spending time together. We have a property to renovate so more likely moving a pile of rubble together

  5. my hubby has not got a romantic bone in his body, do not even think he knows what romance is? my xmas card read “to maria good luck in 2024 from hubby” that is about as romantic as he gets! I do miss romance, all previous relationships I got flowers and suchlike, but hey ho, it is what it is!

  6. It would be amazing if I could all these things with my husband- if only we didn’t have to factor in responsibility, money and time. But romance can stay alive with the every little things in life. Never stop spoiling your other half, make them a tea and coffee, come home with a little gift or a little surprise hug from behind when they’re feeling stress or for no reason whatsoever.

My husband and I have been together for over 10 years now yet we still tell each other ‘I love you’ several times a day. We send each other texts every day even though we’re in the same house saying “I love you”. When I left my cup of tea on the kitchen counter as I have already snuggled up to the TV, he would get out of his comfort to get it for me and visa and versa.

We never go to bed without settling an argument we may have had earlier on that day. We involve each other in the activities we make and we go on regular dates without the kids to rekindle life before being a stressed out parent.

Most importantly we give each other space to do the things we love, to grow and find one self and we respect that space. Trust is so important

    1. Aww that is so lovely – you have such an amazing relationship with one another, t really is all about finding that person who helps you supports you and loves you.

  7. Love the brunch and hike idea! Means we can involve the dog too🤣 I always make the effort to keep date days/nights going in my relationship, so important not to get complacent
