Beautiful Jewellery From Jana Reinhardt

I have long admitted my love for jewellery. I think it can be a unique way to show your personality, with so many different styles and choices on the market there is something to suit every taste. 

Today I have teamed up with the fantastic Jana Reinhardt to share with you some of their beautiful creations.

Jana Reinhardt

Jana Reinhardt was founded by Jana Reinhardt & Ross Cutting, a husband and wife team who together have over 50 years in the jewellery-making industry, both of whom are qualified goldsmiths. After 10 years of working for different jewellery companies, Jana decided to set up a brand herself, she was then later joined in the business by her husband, thus the name being just hers.

In 2020 Jana and Ross decided like many to make a change to their business. Instead of taking commissions for rings, they decided to turn their attention to the side of the business that raised awareness and funds for causes close to their heart. While of course still offering beautiful pieces made to last.

They are also very careful to try and be as eco-friendly as possible. They have made all of their packaging plastic-free and planted a tree for every jewellery sale. While every piece is made from 100% recycled gold or silver.

I thought I would share with you some of my favourite pieces from the range:

Sloth Necklace

I love sloths so I had to include this necklace which helps to raise £20 for The Sloth Conservation Foundation with each sale.

Offered in a range of metals including; silver, gold and platinum it comes on either a 16-18″ or 20-22″ necklace. What’s more, you can even have this necklace engaged with up to 3 letters of your choice.

A highly detailed necklace helps celebrate this beautiful animal in all their glory.

Pigeon Charm

Pigeon Charm by Jana Reinhardt

I know so many people hate pigeons, but they have been such incredible help to humans over time, and I love that this is part of the “Reconnect” collection, which has been made to encourage people to reframe how they think about the animals included within it.

Carefully handcrafted this little pigeon has wonderful details within its feathers.

Offered in 925 Sterling Silver, 9ct or 18ct solid gold and platinum it measures in at 12 x 13mm and can also be bought with a chain.

The Pigeon Charm starts at £59.

Hibernating Hedgehog Ring

I wondered how they would do a collection of rings featuring animals but they have worked out so well! This little hibernating hedgehog just looks adorable sitting atop this ring.

Measuring in at 1cm x 1cm this ring is of course hand crafted and once again offered in a range of metals. It is finished to a beautiful shine and can be engraved with up to 10 characters. It can even be beautifully gift-wrapped.

Sparrow Hoop Earrings

Last but not least I decided to share these earrings. These beautiful handcrafted sparrow earrings are offered in a range of metal choices and can have the gemstone eyes changed to match a birthstone.

I love the way they have formed these hoop earrings and it is just a fun way to see the swallows swoop. The hoops themselves come in at around 2.5cm so not to big, but still a lovely piece.

There is also a range of Little Sparrow items which means you can match your jewellery pieces.

  39. I love the hedgehog necklace as they are such beautiful animals, we have a hedgehog box in our garden and I will put food out every day for them when they come out of hibernation.

  40. The Hippo Necklace is gorgeous. I would love it in white gold. Although there are so many beautiful choices, the hippo reminds me of feeding them behind the scenes at Cairo zoo. We were very privileged to be allowed to do so.

  74. I love the owl family pendant but its way out of my price range but I hope some day to have the smaller owl pendant necklace. Why? Well I’m an owlaholic! I have lost count of the number of owls in my house, everything from ornaments, cushions and plantpots to table lamps. I even have an owl shower pull cord in my bathroom! I am also lucky to have seen generations of barn owls use the field behind the house as their hunting ground for over 50 years.

  99. So hard to choose favourites because I love them all. I adore the birth flower rings, which are so dainty and sweet. I think if I really had to choose, my favourite would have to be the tiny cat ring/necklace in memomoriam of my childhood pet/best friend Shadow.

  126. I love cats and do lots of voluntary work with a cat rescue in my spare time so the leaping cat necklace would be purrfect for me. I also love the hedgehog pendant necklace as it reminds me of all the hedgehogs that visit our garden when the weather is warmer. The tiny hummingbird necklace is another a favourite of mine as I’m diabetic and the hummingbird is the symbol of hope and optimism for the diabetes community. To be honest, I just love Jana Reinhardt’s jewellery and I could rave about it all day long!

  144. Bless you, Sarah-Louise for your kind words about pigeons. I understand why people don’t like the mess they leave but they are beautiful, gentle and courageous little souls. It’s sad that feral pigeons lead such short, miserable lives. I read recently that London was using pigeons to measure air pollution so, yes, mankind has always found a use for them.

    My favourite item on Jana Reinhardt’s site is the Reconnect Rosary Charm Necklace. I would, of course, want plenty of pigeon charms on it!

    1. They are so overlooked, we as humans have used them for so much and then just thrown them to the curb, it is no wonder they come to us looking for food as that’s what we bred them to do, then left them and forgot about them which is so sad.

  157. My daughter is the year of a pig and being Chinese I know it’s going to taunt her as it’s clashes with the western view of a pig. In Chinese culture, pig symbolises wealth but in the UK it is known for greed and obesity. So I would love to one day buy the Piglet Necklace from Jana Reinhardt and wear it proud to show my daughter how pretty I think she is, just like the necklace.
