Sacet Lujia Hoop Earrings: Review
One thing I will never stop loving as a blogger is being introduced to new brands. One of them this year is the jewellery company Sacet and they quickly became a brand I fell in love with thanks to their really interesting ethos of bringing something different, straight from amazing designers to you.
Who Are Sacet?
Sacet looks to offer something different for everyone involved. They want to offer reasonably priced designer jewellery, in a setting where the original designer is also paid a fair wage for each piece of their jewellery that is sold. Which is a huge turning point on the age-old profit margin set, which saw companies adding on, up to 10 times profit for themselves.
For them, they look to care for the people and planet first, with profit coming last. At the moment they have three factors which are used to make their company different:
Exclusively Luxurious, Inclusively Priced – Sacet looks to cut out the middleman, making sure that jewellery is delivered straight from designer to your door. This offers a fairer deal for everyone involved and as the buyer, you know exactly who is making your jewellery, with each designer having their name to their pieces.
Ethically and Consciously Crafted – from the use of 100% recycled silver, to ethically sourced diamonds and gemstone and eco-friendly packaging. Sacet looks to make sure fair prices are paid to workers and that all the components are as ethically sourced as possible.
Jewellery with a Purpose – Sacet has set up artisan shops for their designers, for free, until they start making a profit. The ideas is, that they want to see these designers set up their own businesses and build a future from themselves.
Lujia Hoop Earrings
I was kindly sent the Lujia Hoop Earrings from the Sacet collection, these earrings have been designed by Meng a designer who has won many awards. She is a passionate and dedicated designer. Alongside her biography sits the photos of Pravin Patil who files the jewellery, Avinash Patil who polishes the jewellery and Ratikant who sets any stones.
I love the fact you get to find out and see a little more about the backstory and journey of your jewellery.
The Lujia Hoop Earrings come in a choice of; sterling silver, gold vermeil or rose gold vermeil. I decided to go for the rose gold vermeil which is gilded on top of sterling silver, as I have to admit I’ve fallen completely in the trap of loving this colour.
At first glance, you may think these are your everyday hoop earrings, but I’ve included the pictures from the website to hopefully give you an idea on the shape they are actually formed in. What’s more these earrings have been made using 100% recycled materials.
Personally, I am over the moon with the Lujia Hoop Earrings, they seem really well made, are heavy enough to feel like you have something solid in your hands, without feeling too heavy on the ears. They are simple to get in and out, with the butterfly backs keeping them securely in place during wearing.
The Lujia Hoop Earrings, which I personally think are so versatile (can’t you just see them taking your from day to night, with a whole host of different outfit ideas). Come in at £55 in sterling silver or £59 in rose gold or gold vermeil and can, of course, be bought from the Sacet website.
