Rapeseed Candles from Natural Chandler

Natural Chandler
Created out of a passion and love for natural wax candles, Natural Chandler offers a range of fragrance-free pillar candles which have been made with sustainable GMO-free European rapeseed wax. As well as a small collection of Aromatherapy candles which have been hand-poured using a combination of rapeseed and coconut wax, and scented with essential oil blends.
Hand-poured in their London studio, all the candles are made with pure plant-based ingredients and wicks from cotton to make them safe for both people and the environment. They are also vegan-friendly.
I thought I would share some of my favourite candle picks from Natural Chandler with you today.
ELEPHANT Rapeseed Wax Candle
I love this pillar candle, and I have just the platform to put it on. The pillar candles are made to burn for around 4-5 hours each time. I didn’t know this but shorter burn times can lead to tunnelling and longer to sidewall blowouts and leaking! I need to be better at burning my candles for the correct time.
Personally, I really like these decorative animal pillar candles, with cats also on offer!
Thanks to the fact these candles are made with rapeseed you should find you get a cleaner flame, with less smoke and no petrol-carbon soot which can be an issue with petroleum-based paraffin candles.

Rapeseed Wax Vegan Tealights
One thing I seem to use a lot is tealights, from using them with a burner to using them in different tealight holders I have that just help make a pretty ambience. So I was really excited to see that Natural Chandler offers a range.
In fact, they have three types of tea lights to choose from small and large versions made from rapeseed and coconut wax, and these rapeseed only ones. The tea lights are sold with a choice of having a cup or if you would just like the refill.
Tealights I think are perhaps one of the most versatile types of candles, but I have always felt so bad just throwing away so many cups from them, so I am glad to have found an alternative.
The price of the Rapeseed Wax Vegan Tealights starts at £4.90 and goes up depending on type and amount, they can be bought from the website and Etsy.
Classic Rapeseed Pillar Candle
Sometimes simple is the best way to go and who doesn’t love a group of pillar candles set up and burning of a night?
Offered in a choice of three sizes; 50mm, 60mm and 70mm these candles can be a stand-alone feature or clustered together at a safe distance. Burn time on these should be around 2-3 hours for each burn to help prevent burn issues.

My favourite is the Cat Rapeseed Vegan Wax Candle. It is sweet, sculptural and vegan friendly so I probably wouldn’t burn it unless we had a power outage and, instead, just enjoy looking at it..
