Pooch and Mutt: Sally’s favourite treats
So Sally has been whispering in my ear again and has asked that, she lets you all know, about one of her favourite dog treats – Pooch and Mutt, she recently received a pot of Brain and Train in her PawPost and they are actually one of the brands we have felt comfortable giving her for a while.
Sally does have stomach issues, she’s on a prescription diet to try and help and thankfully it does. While, of course, we try and stick to it as much as possible, she has times of deciding she just doesn’t want to eat it, so we have had to come up with fun and inventive ways to try and help and in doing so we have realised she can cope with natural treats, allowing us to give her a bit of variety in her diet.
Pooch and Mutt make a range of natural supplements, treats and food and with Sal’s windy issues it only seemed right to give her a whirl with their Digestion and Wind treats, these low-calorie, ethical, gluten-free, hand-baked mini bone treats include chicken, parsley, charcoal and chicory.
As you may have guessed the ingredients have been specially picked to help with digestion and wind, in particular, parsley has been used since the 4th century BC to help aid digestion, charcoal can help by absorbing foods that haven’t been digested properly and chicory is a natural prebiotic.
So what did Sally think?
Do we need to even guess what she thought? Of course, she loves them – she is a dog after all. But most importantly they agreed with her and even seem to help with her windy problems and perhaps most importantly of all when we gave a choice of treats, she decided to pick out Pooch and Mutt as her flavour of the day and whatever you do – don’t shake a tub too close by as you will soon have a best friend, asking for just one more bone!
Which of course helps to make me feel as though I am not only giving her something she likes, but something that won’t harm her delicate digestive system, allowing myself and her to hopefully feel like a treat has been enjoyed.
Pooch and Mutt treats start at just £2.99 for the pack and for a natural, hand-baked treat I think that is a wonderful price (and so does Sal), so why not head over to the Pooch and Mutt website so find out more about the range they have on offer.
What do you think of the sound of Pooch and Mutt, do you think your dog might like them?

I normally sneak my neighbors dog a treat so we ask what we can or cannot buy for him but these are great for him. I love the packing too. Simple to fit in your purse on the go.
I might be a horrible pet owner. I hardly ever give my pets treats. They are on strict diets due to medical issues.
we just added a puppy to our family this past May. we’re just starting obedience classes, so treats are an essential part of shopping list.
What a great little treat! I’m not an animal owner but my son is looking to get a dog sometime soon.

Our dog Johnny might actually like these treats. Usually he takes them and hides them though.
