  1. I would say the positive thing come out of lockdown is that I appreciate what I have around me like family and surroundings

    1. Definitely, I think it has made us realise that we do rely on being able to be around humans more than we realise.

  2. It really is looking positive with the vaccine, and though I still think we are a while away from it being used for the general public it is so wonderful that it is so effective.
I am so grateful for technology, as it gives us the chance to stay in touch with family, it would have been so much more difficult if we didn’t have access to it.

  3. I feel torn about the virus and how it affects me right now. I am especially worried that school will have to go back to being online only.

  4. I’m glad you found TikTok and it is helping you deal with some of this stress. That is great news about getting your medications ahead of time! Many of my loved ones are on different medications and I worry that some of them will be delayed in the future. It would give them peace of mind to have the medication ahead of time.

    1. I’ve had such issues getting meds in the past it is really nice knowing there will be some already ordered for me with the pharmacist I just need to order them.

  5. I understand how you feel about the second lockdown and it seems like where I live many people are up and about, my local fish and chips shop is open although they only let 2 people in at once. I am pleased about the news of the vaccine and hopeful that it will bring some sanity back to the travel industry.

    1. It is strange, isn’t it? It’s almost like nothing has really changed this time. I do wonder how long until people can take the vaccine – I get how it has been made so much quicker though.

  6. I think the best thing is to have something to focus on, no matter how little that you can feel like you have accomplished something

    1. Definitely, I think we have all accomplished something over lockdown as we are managing to carry on despite so much change.

  7. For sure this year has been hard for all of us, but better things will come and the holidays are here, so we can have some happiness even if it is meeting the family on zoom

  8. It seems it’s been getting worse lately with covid. Our schools had to shut down again. Luckily I already decided to homeschool, so my kids are still on their normal schedule. I just hope everything can go back to normal soon.

    1. Oh no I am so sorry your child school has had to shut down again. I am the same, though I’m not sure I quite remember what normal is now.

  9. I love entering competitions but I haven’t had the time to enter many lately. Hopefully, I can get some work out the way to make a bit of time ready for the Advents

    1. Good luck I hope you get some time to enter the advents – I did them last year but didn’t win anything. It’s so up and down with them lol.

  10. Have you tried a window vac in your wet room? I’ve got a Karcher one and have found it really useful. They’re on offer quite often so keep your eyes peeled on Black Friday etc!

    1. Someone else recommended that – I did get one to review years ago and my parents stole it for their shower room – I’ll have to watch out for a sale thank you.

  11. I don’t even feel like a lockdown this time , most places are open that are ‘essential’ and everyone’s mingling , it’s crazy!

    1. It is definitely so different this time – it’s mostly the pubs and restaurants you notice as they are all closed. Other than that it still seems as busy as always.

  12. Hope you had a lovely birthday. Keeping busy with your blog will be helpful. After my daughter son in law and grandson getting the virus I’m happy to say they’re on the mend . Luckily might get to see them next week. But the lockdown and all of this year certainly hasn’t done my anxiety disorder any good . Just plodding on and hoping we are soon out of it . X

  13. News of a vaccine (now 2!) is music to my ears. It gives me a little boost to hang in there for a few more months. We are all in this together. <3

  14. I hope this pandemic end soon. I too been doing new things just to keep me busy. I’m glad that your coping up with the lockdown. Everyone keep safe and just hang in there this soon will end.

  15. We could do with a break over Christmas too! It’s all unknown at the moment and that doesn’t help. I agree with you – I think localised lockdowns will continue after Christmas and go into next year sadly.

    1. Definitely, it would be nice to just have a reprieve I think, wouldn’t it and just have a moment of normality to enjoy.

  16. Sorry to hear you have been struggling, I can totally relate to feeling numb! I think I have been so stressed, worried and anxious with everything going on my brain sometimes just shuts off from it all! Glad you managed to find somewhere to deliver your meds too, thats great news! x

    1. I have to admit sometimes I just sit and want the numbness to come and take over as it is can be so much easier to deal with.

  17. I’m sorry to hear you’re not sleeping – I hope you manage to sleep better soon! I also love Tik Tok for taking my mind off things 🙂

    1. Thank you so much. It is fantastic for it isn’t it? I have a few animal accounts I love catching up with every night.

  18. I feel you. I think Tiktok may be the only reason I haven’t gone into a straight depression. It’s definitely a rollercoaster of emotions for me.

    1. It is so hard isn’t it – I have to admit I adore all the creatives who have got us through this. I hope people when they can go back and support the arts.

  19. I have been spending a lot of time on TikTok too. It is great for distracting you when you don’t want to think about things.

  20. I can relate to this so much! I’ve been in my home since March and my anxiety has made this much harder than it needs to be (also my birthday was 3 days ago, so we have that in common too).

    1. I am so sorry – it is hard, I don’t go out a lot normally but the fact that I now can’t drives me a little stir crazy.

  21. An interesting week again for you, glad to got some blogging done. Entering competition is so fun, especially if you win things. Hoping this coming week will be a lot better for you

    1. Thank you – feel utter exhausted so far this week – need to wake up a bit lol.
There is nothing like winning a competition.

  22. Hard week here, littlest has gone back to school but biggest is now self isolating because of his bubble bursting so the home learning is relentless.

  23. Nice to learn that you have had a good experience from Pharmacy / Pharmacists. That really is how things should be. As some people do require their medications to be delivered to them at home. There are some individuals who do require/ benefit from the same brand of medication. I know of someone who was in that situation in regards to prescribed inhaler, it was the preservative that was different. General Practitioner agreed to request brand which was effective, and chemist dispensed as requested and required. Effective Health Care is Important, and a Caring, Compassionate, Kind Professional listens to client /s and aims to provide effective, appropriate, acceptable service /s.

    1. Definitely I think we all need to make sure we have good access to healthcare be that with the GP or the pharmacy.

  24. It’s good to have something to keep your mind active and help keep from focusing on all the suck of this lockdown. I’m a Virtual Assistant, and it keeps me too focused on work to dwell on the horror.

    1. Definitely, I think having something to do always helps though you also need to make sure you don’t get carried away with it and forget to focus on yourself.

  25. I am sorry that you’re struggling right now. I am too and it’s hard! I just feel so angry all the time and let down. I can’t quite make it all make sense in my head. The 2nd December needs to hurry up now and bring good news x x

    1. It is hard isn’t it – I’m trying not to get excited by the vaccine, all this talk of spring sounds way too soon in many ways and these people saying next month?! What?!

  26. The world is crazy right now, that’s for sure. We’re not in a lockdown here, but it could be coming since cases keep rising in Texas.

I’ve been binging The Crown on Netflix!

  27. We have a delivery service which is great, it really does help. It is very strange times, I feel that the rate will drop over Christmas due to schools and universities being closed but will be back up in January

    1. Oh that is awesome – I felt quite sad that some places who did delivery in the last lockdown said oh we aren’t stopping we realise now that people who are stuck at home need support. However, they soon did and now they are back doing delivery and wanting those people back again.

  28. I have been going abut my busines and since I work from home I keep my distance from others for the most part. Unfortunately the numbers are creeping up at this time so we need to count the days before the virus comes out.

    1. Definitely, I hope it won’t be too long but I do worry all these dates being counted down until it will come out.

    1. Definitely, it has made all the difference now I think – especially as Boots have bought in a charge of £5 an order!

  29. At least you have your blog to keep you busy and your mind active, that’s a positive and hopefully, fingers crossed, we will be out of this by next March at least with this vaccine.

    1. Definitely, it does help – gives me something to do at least. It will be interesting to see what happens with the vaccine!
