Making It Personal and Looking After Yourself
Let’s take a quick break from the rather cold world of computers and technology to talk about an important subject: self-care. A lot of people who work in IT or are mostly engaged in technology have the tendency to show less self-care and warmth. Prolonged interaction with computers and smartphones can have this impact on people. Fortunately, there is a way to reverse the effect; by practising self-care and gratitude.
Self-care for social workers is considered to be extremely important. The same can be said for the rest of the population. When you have a high level of self-care, you have a better ability to care for others, pay attention, be empathetic and maintain a high level of positivity. You can have a personal life; be grateful about the friends, and things, you have and achieve so much more.
