  2. I keep forgetting to take part in this, popping a note in my diary for next week! I have been meaning to read Eve of Man for ages, how are you finding it?

    1. Do come and join us! I finished it in like 2 days ?, I really enjoyed it and will definitely be getting the next one. It jumps between characters but does it well and flows.

  3. I’ve not been good my anxiety disorder is playing up . I think it’s the stress with this virus and not been able to have my grandson is just heartbreak ing plus not done anything in the heat . I feel physically and mentally drained . Just trying to keep my mind occupied and only doing what I can. Let’s hope all this passes soon x

    1. Oh no, I am so sorry your anxiety disorder is playing up – it’s just so mentally draining this whole time.

  4. I have to admit I have been loving the weather, although not loving all the visitors to our local beach. I haven’t visited any shops yet apart from the supermarket

    1. I can’t imagine how people are dealing with the fact they have so many people showing up to their local beaches, it’s crazy!

  5. I have been living in London and it was been sooooo hot recently! Thankfully, I enjoy the heat a lot! I also agree with your 4th point, you shouldn’t feel forced to do something just because someone else is doing it.

    1. Definitely not I’ve seen a lot of oh come on why not.. If someone doesn’t want to let them be. We shouldn’t judge someone for not or for doing something they are allowed as long as it is done safely.

  6. The weather has been strange with the rain which I hate . I am preparing to go back to work so I am just a little bit worried but it had to happen at some time. I like your lists it helps to reflect on the week.

    1. I hope things go OK with you going back to work – it must feel very strange to have that coming up.

    1. It was horrid, wasn’t it? I think it would be easier if we could get used to the heat, but just suddenly having a week of it doesn’t work.

  7. I love audible! I listen to a book while I’m working or cleaning, and it sure makes the time go by faster!

    1. I’m slowly getting used to it – I think if I had chosen to go to audible it would be easier, but the fact I can’t read a book now I miss that.

  8. Things have opened up around me and I’m taking full advantage of all those little things I missed; sitting in a restaurant, being with family, etc.

  9. Most things are going back to normal for us now. I have no idea what they’re going to do for school for my kids yet though. I’m sure that is going to change a lot.

  10. IT was too hot! for me, i felt fatigued and couldn’t sleep well, which then inturned made my week rough, I’m a key worker so I’m still out there but id did feel for me not a lot else happened that week.

    1. Oh no bless you and thank you for all you do! Hopefully, this weeks weather is easier on you.

  11. Love listening to books on audible. It makes the time go by so fast during the day. Excited to celebrate July 4th

  12. My routine is all over this week and the week feels like it is dragging a little to be honest. However, I love the sound of an audible book, so much better I will be trying this out x

  13. My family just got back from a beach vacation. It was so good to get out of our house and feel somewhat normal again.

    1. Oh wow – I don’t think we are allowed on holiday here yet! Awesome that places are opening up like that.

  14. Life has been okay. I am not complaining! I work from home so not much has changed there. My husband and I have always really been together 24/7 too (except when one of us travels or if one of us goes out with friends or whatever) so he and I are good too. I am just feeling a bit cooped up. But I did manage to get a massageeeeee last week and I definitely want MORE!

    1. Me and Ash are normally together as I work from home and he’s my carer due to my health so we’ve not had to get used to that which I think helps haha!

  15. I am lucky enough to have kept my job, so I’m glad I never had to worry about that during the quarantine. I am back at work now, but I loved working from home. I had so much better mental health.

    1. Oh that is awesome! How are you finding being back at work? I’m hoping some places look to allow workers at home work long term as I think for many it will work so much better.

  16. I’ve heard great things about audible. I’ll have to check it out.

I don’t like the heat much either. But it’s super hot in Texas, so I just deal with it.

    1. It is good – I just miss holding a book haha!

I think the trouble with our heat is it will come out of nowhere last for three days and then go back to being cold, so we never get used to it, in many ways oh and we have no air con. So everywhere is HOT. Last year we decided to go to the pub for dinner as we thought it would be cooler – nope they didn’t have air con either, ended up driving around for a while just to enjoy the coolness of the car lol.

  17. I recently went back to the gym after working out at home for 14 weeks. It’s given me a small sense of normality, which really lifted my spirits.

  18. Summer is starting and the kids are planning out there summer activities and jobs. It has beena long time now with this isolation and we have to remember it is still a serious time.

    1. It is definitely a strange one isn’t it – hopefully some fun can be had over summer.

  19. Managing lockdown has been challenging. Just looking forward to the pubs, barbers ad restaurants reopening on Saturday.

    1. It will be interesting to see how that goes, I’m very thankful some are continuing to offer delivery though.

  20. Oh I agree – the heat has been intense and made the simple task a challenge. I’m so grateful it’s cooler this week 🙂

    1. It’s so hard isn’t it – just moving was like oh my incoming rainfall from my head.

  21. It hasn’t been as warm up here, but it has been stuffy. Very wet here too. It is hard when you have to go out after being in for such a long time. Lots of ups and down with the kids too x

    1. I’m not going out at all yet really I don’t feel “safe” but I also worry for myself long term being in that mindset.

  22. The heat affected me especially with having the menopause and hot flushes combined, and then the thunder headaches. My anxiety was through the roof one day last week when I had to go out with my Daughter but luckily it was so quiet and we had no issues

    1. Oh gosh yeah I bet that was horrid – the headaches are the worst aren’t they with the weather changes.

  23. Lockdown has bought so many ups and downs. It’s managing it which has been difficult and trying to keep an upbeat attitude around kids when things are not so great.

    1. Aww, bless you I bet that can be really hard, as you don’t want them to see how it is effecting you :(.

  24. It’s been a strange week for me. I did a lot of hours at work and have been blogging so I don’t actually feel like I’ve had any ‘me time’ as such. I’m also feeling a bit unsettled because I was supposed to be planning to emigrate and with the pandemic everything as gone a bit array.

    1. I hope you manage to get some you time sometime soon, we all ned some time to ourselves!
