  1. Nothing like some good ice cream, I remember stopping to get one in the summer while shopping – ah will be a while until that happens again.

  2. It’s been hard to conquer the boredom. I’ve been reading, binge-watching tv, sitting in the sun, cleaning and doing to much online shopping. Some great tips here though: thank you.

    1. It is strange isn’t it – I have to admit there are times I wish I could just go out and do something.

  10. Awesome ideas. For me, I have been spending more time in the garden. I have invested in some new plants and I have fun exchanging tips with my sisters and cousin on plant care. It is such a big stress reliever for me.

    1. I used to love sitting in the garden and reading in the sun, I’d take out a radio and be out there for hours.

  13. I love the idea o a smart phone projector. I am really missing the cinema, so this would make a perfect summer experience. Mich x

  14. We are spending more time at home and more time with family. It is important to always find ways to enjoy our time at home and with the ones we love.

    1. Definitely I think we can all take away all the time we got to spend with loved ones from this time.

  17. since lockdown, I have joined in with quite a few facebook book clubs and been reading quite a bit.

  18. We’re fortunate to have a garden and it has been our saviour in lockdown. Reading helps ease the boredom and also adds to the escapism to the current situation!

  19. These are great tips, our summer today are not the same before but even though I am not able to go to the beach for summer vacation due to our world health crisis I am still grateful because I am still alive and enjoying every moment with my loved ones.

    1. Definitely I think we have to be thankful for just being here still and being OK and healthy and having loved ones around us.

  22. I would love a projector in the garden! Puffed up pillows and blankets, popcorn, pop and sweets could be made into quite a cinema experiance!
