Keep Your Home Safe with the Yale All In One Camera
October has been National Home Security Month.
Sadly my eye operation taking longer to overcome has meant I’m late posting this.
However, better late than never, right?
Of course, I have posted before about home security which may work in your home.
Today however I want to introduce you to a simple to use camera from Yale.
Yale All in One Camera
If you are after a simple camera that can be used indoors or outside, then the Yale All in One might be for you.
This nifty little camera allows you to detect movement within the area it covers, and use a two-way communication system to talk to those there. That is alongside the addition of a light (160-lumen) and siren (110db).
Meaning this is a security camera and intercom system all in one.
All of which can be controlled from your mobile device
The camera runs on mains and comes with a wall bracket to fix it either indoors and outside.
Once plugged in, all set up is done via the app. From here you can set up motion detection alerts direct to your phone.
As well as being able to control the light (this is both able to be motion-activated, and switched on and off via the app).
How Do I Keep Files?
There is no cloud storage with this device, so without the following items, you will only be to view live view / record directly to your phone manually.
And if you are anything like me you would like a backup, without you having to input it each time. As let’s be honest the times you are going to want a copy, you’re going to miss.
As such the easiest way to use this camera is with a micro SD card (sold separately). This can be simply slotted into the top and cleaned up as necessary of unwanted files.
However, if you also have a Yale Smart CCTV DVR this will keep a constant record of all activity.
In Use
I am really impressed with some of the features of this camera.not
The light is a real plus and the quality of the camera both day and night (night vision up to 10 meters) are good.
I like the fact you can set up target areas with the frame of the camera and only when those areas are hit will the camera be triggered.
Believe me, if you can’t quite get the top of cars behind bushes out the frame. You will get very annoyed when it keeps going off.

It is so simple to use and I do like the SD idea, the cloud is great, but physical copies sometimes can’t be beaten.
Yale products are great. We have a wireless Yale Alarm. It comes with 2 motion sensors, and 2 window or door sensors, and you can add to it so all points of entry covered

The Yale All in One seems like a good all around security camera. The price is reasonable with it’s features. I may need to get a couple of these for some parts of the house where I need them.

I love that this camera offers a lot. My husband and I travel to Florida over the summer and it’s good to make sure we can check in our house from time to time. It’s easy to install and definitely convenient to have!

We are living like it’s the 2000’s over here. We have a home alarm but it’s so low-tech. I would prefer a camera system, and this looks like the perfect option.

This is a nice sized security camera and I like that it can be placed indoors or outdoors. No one should be without one. We have two cameras and when I was on vacation and left our 21+ year old kids home alone, I had peace of mind. It was fun to see the pizza man at my door when hubby and I were cruising the Mediterranean. lol

It’s a great addition to an alarm, as it just gives you that extra cover.
