Dēpology Peptide Complex 10% Serum Review
AD
With the weather starting to change, you might, like me, be thinking about changing up your skincare routine a little. So with that in mind, I have today a review of a serum which is getting spoken about quite a bit in the beauty world right now.
Dēpology.

A fast-growing K-Beauty brand founded in Seoul, Dēpology is mixing tradition with technology to make products that are making waves within the beauty industry.
What’s more, thanks to their leading cosmetic chemists, their formulas are constantly tested and refined to help ensure visible results.
While they have a wide range of products under their belt, I was kindly sent the recently reformed Dēpology Peptide Complex 10% Serum formulated with ArgirelineTM peptide to try out.
Peptide Complex 10% Argireline™ Serum.

This serum features a potent mix of ingredients including Argireline™ peptide and Hyaluronic Acid. And has been specially formulated to tackle those areas where fine lines and wrinkles occur. Alongside its anti-wrinkle benefits, it also helps to provide hydration to the skin, reduce further signs of ageing and can help to stimulate collagen production.
Usable on all skin types, this Peptide Complex Anti-Wrinkle Serum is especially beneficial for dehydrated ageing skin and treatment of the 11’s line area. (Of which I struggle greatly I think in part due to my Keratoconus which has me squinting a lot).
The serum has not been tested on animals and is alcohol-free.
When it comes to results; third-party testing has suggested that wrinkle depth was reduced by 7.22% after 28 days and skin hydration levels were boosted by 45.68% after 28 days.
It is worth noting that the Dēpology Argireline™ Peptide Serum has been formulated in partnership with Lubrizol who are the renowned makers of this ingredient.
How To Use The Argireline™ Peptide Serum
Easy to fit into any routine, the Dēpology Argireline™ Peptide Serum is applied to the skin after cleansing and toning.
Decant a few drops into the palm of your hand, and massage into your skin, making sure to focus and apply generously to any areas fine lines form, such as the forehead and around the eyes.
After, you are going to want to follow up with moisturiser and sunscreen as applicable.

My Thoughts on Dēpology Peptide Complex

I have been using the Dēpology Peptide Complex for a number of weeks now, the first thing I noticed about the serum was it was a lot thicker than I assumed it would be. It actually has a nice texture and volume which I think helps you to apply it easily to the skin. I’ve found it soaks in quite quickly and doesn’t leave any residue.
When it comes to benefits, I feel as though my skin is more hydrated and moisturised, especially compared to how it has felt of late. However, so far I haven’t noticed any reduction in my 11 lines but they are quite deep, and I perhaps haven’t been using it quite long enough. As such I will be interested to see how it works as I carry on using it.
For me, this is a serum that if I continue to see benefits from it I would continue to buy. Alongside that, the technology that has gone into it and the process of testing I really think it is well priced at $49.

What do you think of the sound of the Peptide Complex 10% Argireline™ Serum, would you like to try it?

This product looks interesting and effective. Applying a quality serum under moisturiser makes a huge difference to moisturisation.
The brand name Depology made me smile, though. You look far too young to remember, Sarah-Louise, but Maureen Lipman starred in a funny BT advert years ago praising her grandson for getting an ‘ology’ at school. I’ve never forgotten it and I am unlikely to forget the brand name Depology, either. You’re right that it is well priced so I will remember it when I need to buy my next bottle of serum.
Thanks for the review and intro.
I have to admit I don’t remember the ad but I’m probably not as young as look (I should really update my photos – but I hate taking them haha). If you do give it a try I’d love to know what you think.
This sounds delightful! I’m sur a my dry dehydrated skin would suck it right in straight away
Definitely worth a try, it’s really helped to moisturise my skin and it definitely seems plumper.
Sounds like a nice product, will try to keep it in mind for when I feel like treating myself.
Definitely worth a go if you are looking to treat yourself to some nice skincare.
The difference that a serum makes to the skin is huge. Thank you for this!
It really is – I wish I had started to use them sooner I have to admit.
I personally think $49 is a bit pricey for me, if it is just to hydrate the skin. I understand it’s to cover cost for the research but with only a reduction of wrinkles by 7.22% over a course of a month, I would personally choose a good SPF cream, maybe with collagen added?
Nice to see more korean brands making it’s way into UK’s market and not tested on animals either
I guess I was compairing it to some of the very high cost serums which have similar amounts of testing / results. You could be looking at into the £100s for some of those. I guess the type of product you want, depend on the results you want to see.
Gosh I need all the help I can get – and this sounds very scientific
I know the feeling I do as well! Definitely the research is really interesting.
That sounds interesting and I would be happy to try out this serum
I hope you get to try out one day and really love it!
