Canvas Champ Review and Giveaway
If you have been following my Instagram you have probably seen my weekly updates on Sally.
She’s been up and down of late, but here we are in April and she’s still with us.
I can only hope we make it a little further through the year with her at my side.
Last month Canvas Champ got in touch and asked if I would like to review a canvas, now I have to be totally honest and admit out walls are pretty full.
The bungalow is small and both Ash and I love art and different wall decor, so it’s not surprising really.
Kindly instead the offered me 12″ x 12″ cushion instead.

Over the years I’ve tried out some websites which offer a simple creation facility and those which have got me scratching my head.
I can, without doubt, say I found the creation features on Canvas Champ simple.
All I needed to do was upload the picture I wanted to use and choose the colour for the back, while canvas Champ did the rest!
Some of you probably know this picture of Sally already. It was originally taken for a post I did on the blog a number of years ago.
Since then has been used for a whole host of different things, from Christmas cards to phone cases.
I think the reason is it just shows of Sal’s sassy side, with the crown slightly askew, it has always bought a smile to my face.
What Did I Think of the Cushion?
I love that fact this is a smaller than average cushion. I have to admit when it first arrived I thought hmm what am I going to do with this.
However, it has sat proudly on the sofa with me since it’s arrival.
I always shared my sofa with Sal, but it has been a while since she got up with me, old age has taken those snuggles away, after one too many falls, while she tried to get comfortable.
As such I think it has made a lovely addition to my sofa and reminds me of a special memory.
The cushion itself is made from high-quality textile fabric and features a zip to the bottom. The fabric itself is soft to the touch both front and back and I personally love how my photo looks one this cushion.
The cushion shows to have an RRP of £62.50 but is being sold for £8.75. I will completely admit that I think £62.50 is overcharging for this cushion.
However, at £8,75 I think this is a bargain and would happily pay even a little more. As I think this cushion is well made and something I will enjoy having around for time to come.
Overall I am absolutely thrilled with this cushion and would definitely look at buying more for friends, family and myself over the coming year.

I took a photo of a tiger stood on a waterfall two years ago at our local Wildlife Park and it really is my favourite photo I’ve taken. Would love to hang it in the lounge where people can see it and I can enjoy it.

my dog Rocco sadly passed away earlier this year. i would have his picture on a canvas and hang in the lounge.

I would get one of my dog Jasper and put it in the living room.
My wife and I have a special part of the country we visit at least once, sometimes 4 times a year and I have a picture which relates the tranquility of a coastal area. This would hang proudly in our hall which we are slowly making into a sort of seaside cum beachy area creating a tranquil area the moment we get into our home.
I would have a picture of my two ddogs together (if they can’t sit nicely ?) and hang it in my bedroom x

I would have our boat on the canvas, we bought it before I was diagnosed with cancer, expecting me to bounce back, however due to complications we can no longer cruise. So we have to sell it. I am really sad about this. But it is something we can no longer undertake. It would look lovely on a canvas.
