Botanical Cocktails
If you’re thinking about making some different cocktails for your Christmas party this year, then I might just have the perfect ideas for you here today.
You see herbs are a simple, yet effective way to garnish and compliment your cocktails and this infographic from Ness Gardens, not only shows some the best herbs to use with each spirit, but includes a roundup of recipes from a number of great bloggers.
If you are feeling particularly creative you could even set up a make your own stand at your party, print off some of these ideas, line them up with a number of spirits alongside bowls of fruit, herbs and different juices, then let people test and try not only the cocktail ideas you have shared, but some of their own. Not only would it make a great way to allow people to try new cocktails, but think of the talking point it would create.
What do you think of the idea of botanical cocktails, would you like to mix some up yourself?
