Beautiful Rings from Berganza
If there is one thing I am sucker for, it has to be rings. I absolutely adore them and have quite a list of different types I would like to add to my collection, in particular at the moment I would love an opal ring, however to get a good one, I think I might need to do a bit of saving.
Recently I came across Berganza, a website I don’t think I should have been told about, as it is full of gorgeous antique jewellery and they just so happen to specialise in rings.
I have to say, these four in particular jumped out at me:
Rainbow gem set ring by Gübelin, Swiss, circa 1990 – £1,600
How beautiful is this ring? I absolutely love how it is made up of a collection of 19 stones, which happen to include stones such as garnet, amethyst and tourmaline to name just a few. With them all coming together to make a vibrant rainbow like look and while it isn’t really that old, in the grand scheme of things, I am sure it will become a much loved antique in the future.
Early enamel and diamond set skull ring, circa 1700 AD. – £6,400
Now I’m not sure if this ring is actually something I would wear, but I find it oddly fascinating when it comes to the design. When you think back of over its 300 years of existence and its start as a memorial ring, you have to wonder what it has seen and where it has been worn.
Georgian diamond button cluster ring, Swedish, circa 1944. – £3,700
I absolutely love this style and shape of ring, there is something beautiful about how any gem, (but perhaps particularly diamonds,) look when clustered together. I wonder what different people, this ring has graced the hands of over the years.
Heart shape opal and diamond coronet cluster ring, circa 1910. – £3,100
As I said back at the start of this post, I really want an opal ring, so there was no way I couldn’t include one in this post. Personally I think this heart shaped ring is an absolutely beauty, though sadly, even with a lot of saving I’m not sure I’d ever be able to afford it.
So there you have some gorgeous rings, I hope you fall in love with some of the pieces Berganza, have, as much as I did.

Very pretty rings
I had an old family ring remade for my engagement ring copying a design on Berganza. They have some very very attractive pieces.
I love that first one, with the rainbow of gems.

The skull ring is absolutely stunning! I have an obsession with skulls in jewellery and have a lot of rings with them on so this would definitely be my first choice, although the rainbow gem one is equally as beautiful! x
I have to admit I’ve long had a fascination with skull things, I used to have a lot of pieces with them on, not sure what happened to them though. x

Wow! Check out that rainbow gem set. Got my eyes on those. The prices are really steep but considering they’re antiques they’re pretty awesome.
I know if only they were cheaper but if I had the money I think I would definitely go for an antique. x
