Beautiful Rings from Astley Clarke Review

I have long been a fan of jewellery, rings especially, have always been a favourite of mine. To me, they are a really simple way to show off a bit of your personality. After all, rings allow you to show off your favourite colours, stones which mean something to you or just unique designs.

Recently I was contacted by Astley Clarke and asked if I would like to review something from their collection and of course I had to choose a couple of rings.

Who is Astley Clarke?

Astley Clarke describes themselves as a celestially inspired collective. Who are connected by the cosmos and a love of jewellery.

They design their jewellery with the idea it will be able to be passed on from generation to generation. As such, they invest in expert craftsmanship and high-quality material.

What’s more, they are all about the personal touch, from beautifully hand-wrapped presents to personal shopping. They want to make shopping with them an experience.

When it comes to being a responsible business they look to work with only noble metals, semi-precious and precious gemstones. While any diamonds used are natural and responsibly sourced, adhering to the Kimberley Process.

I can personally attest to their customer service, I made an error and submitted the wrong ring size. I was able to call customer services and within minutes the representative had changed my order. All without hassle or fuss.

So what items did I go for from the stunning collection of gold rings at Astley Clarke?

Mini Stilla Lapis Lazuli Ring In Yellow Gold Vermeil

My first choice was this beautiful Mini Stilla Lapis Lazuli Ring. This particular ring is part of the Stilla collection which includes rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets, all of which feature beautiful circular stone(s).

As the name might giveaway there is a larger version of this ring and also a three-stone version both of which are stunning as well. However, I personally felt this mini version was perfect for me.

The Mini Stilla is available with a choice of semi-precious gems and is finished in gold vermeil. For anyone unsure of what gold vermeil is, in this case, it is 18ct gold plated over 925 sterling silver. Gold vermeil offers better quality and a longer-lasting finish to gold plating.

The lapis lazuli has been finished with a bespoke cute facet and is hand cut and polished.

Due to the size of this ring, it is perfect for layering with other demi-fine stone rings or wearing alone.

The Mini Stilla Lapis Lazuli Ring comes in at £75.

Celestial Orbit Signet Ring In Yellow Gold Vermeil

Next up I went for the Celestial Orbit Signet Ring, once again it is part of a stunning collection which features all manner of jewellery pieces.

I personally chose this simple gold vermeil ring which features a radiant white sapphire set in the centre. This ring is also available in silver and a selection of coloured enamel finishes, which really offer an interesting addition if you are looking for something different.

The white sapphire set into this ring helps evoke the idea of the stars in the night sky, with its beautiful colour and cut. Once again due to its smaller size, it can be worn alone or as a stacking ring. I personally struggle with stacking rings and therefore often use smaller rings alone.

The Celestial Orbit Signet Ring once again comes in at £75.

Overall Thoughts on Astley Clarke.

I have to admit I am really impressed with Astley Clarke. The website is easy to navigate and they offer wonderful value when it comes to the beautiful pieces within their collections.

As I spoke about in the introduction I did have a conversation with their customer services and was very happy with that conversation and the outcome of it. They really made shopping with them a simple experience even when, like me, you mess up.

The rings themselves are stunning, the quality is really good and I feel like they really offer something which will last many years. The fact that there is a lot of versatility around how you can wear the items as well is always a good selling point. While the price for what you get is in my mind very good.

I also like the responsible nature of the company, especially around how they source the materials they use.

Personally, I feel that if you are looking for a piece of jewellery for yourself, or for a present Astley Clarke is well worth checking out.
