ARRAN Sense of Scotland – Kildonan Range
The wonderful ARRAN Sense of Scotland has released a new scent. Kildonan is the first new scent from them in a decade, making this a really unique and special release.

I have mentioned ARRAN before on the blog, including in this review of body butter in their signature After the Rain fragrance. However, if you haven’t heard of this brand before, let me give you a quick introduction.
ARRAN Sense of Scotland, originally called Arran Aromatics, has been making fragrance-led products since 1989. They are inspired by the nature around the Isle of Arran and are proudly made in Scotland.
As a brand, they are fragrance-led, which when attached to their quality products is a unique pampering experience. While as well as toiletries they also offer a range of home fragrances.

This new fragrance from ARRAN is described as “a delicate, velvety scent, inspired by the tranquil, sun-soaked shores of Kildonan in the south of the island.
Including notes of; violet, pea, Lily of the Valley, cedar, orris, ambrette and Cashmirwood, this new offering is one to be smelt.
The range includes 4 products:
- Kildonan Hand Wash – £16.00
- Kildonan Bath & Shower Gel – £16.00
- Kildonan Hand Cream – £16.00
- Kildonan Boxed Saddle Soap – £6.50
It is unsurprising that the range is already ranking as a best seller on the ARRAN website.
Of course, it is all well and good talking about how wonderful the items smell, but do they work? All ARRAN formulas were made to offer a luxurious product experience. For instance, the handwash not only cleanses your hands but helps lock in moisture. While the bath and shower gel contains pro-vitamin B5, helping to enhance skin condition.
As you can see ARRAN products really offer an all-around experience.

The natural deodorants sound great with no harsh chemicals.
We have started to use hand soap at home, a recent change from shower gels/foams. Arran appear to have an amazing range – I love the sound of the lavender and chamomile and lemon and patchouli in particular, we would love to try these.
I adore a deep sumptuous bath and I would love to indulge with the Kildonan bath and shower gel. Even the read up about beaches lined with silver sand and rock formations relaxes me and makes me feel at ease. I love the smell of Violet and would love to escape to paradise with this product. Heaven!

I know ‘After The Rain’ is a popular collection, and I’d really love to try their reed diffuser of this scent. I used their “Find Your Fragrance” interactive scent finder quiz, and got After the Rain as my recommended scent! The seaweed & sage collection sounds lovely, too, so I wouldn’t mind trying their bath and shower gel in that scent.
