About J.D Pearson
Murder in Mind is the first novel from J.D Pearson, also known as John Pearson, who lives in Kent and works as a cleaner at Brands Hatch, combining his work with his passion for Formula 1 racing.
After leaving school without qualifications and spending many years working in a factory, John discovered a love of books as an adult and quickly became a huge fan of crime fiction. Although he never expected to write a novel himself, the idea for Murder in Mind stayed with him for years until he finally brought the story to life.
The book has been eight years in the making, and John is already working on his second novel.

I really enjoy historical fiction. I have recently read Glory Beckons and Fleeting Glory by Jean Baveytstock based on three true life characters who were caught up in the rise and fall of Napoleon. More than 30 years of extensive research went into the writing of her brilliant debut novel(s) Sheer escapism at times coupled with learning so much of this tumultuous time in history. I could not ask for more from a book.
