  1. Are the pots dishwasher safe please and can you get extra pots if one breaks or have a set in use and one in the maker ? Can you use any milk in the yoghurt maker ?

    1. You can use any milk, you can even use soya milk or other milk alternatives for those who are vegan. The only thing to remember with using other milk is if it is fresh milk, rather than UHT it needs heating before you use it, as this will help make a richer end product. I believe you can put the pots into the dishwasher, but I would perhaps handwash the plastic lids. I can’t see that Probio7 sells replacements themselves, however, I have found ceramic pots for yoghurt makers on sale so *touchwood* there would be something out there that would fit.

    1. It is such a good idea, means you know everything that goes into it and it such a good price as well I was amazed.

    1. Definitely, it is a really interesting machine, I would love to hear what you think if you do try it.

  2. This looks great and much better than the old one I have. I love to make yoghurts and it works out cheaper than buying them.

    1. I was amazed by it only costing £49.99, I really thought it would have cost more to buy!

  3. I eat a lot of yoghurt but had not previously thought of making it myself. Thank you for the article.

    1. You’re welcome, it is a great little kitchen gadget and doesn’t take up too much room.

  4. I think I just found the perfect wedding present for my friend. I thought I have seen all kitchen gadgets but this is pretty new to me. With the rise of people taking antibiotics, I think this is a great gadget to have to replenish all the bacteria we’ve lost.

    1. Ahh definitely it is such a great idea – something special to have in the home and it does make a delicious yoghurt.

  5. We eat a lot of yoghurt in our house so it would make sense to use this yogurt maker. I would be happy to give it a go

    1. Definitely, if you eat a lot it is a great idea, plus it helps cut down on plastics as well.
