Roccabox July 2022 – Summer Glow
PR Sample – I was sent the Roccabox July 2022 box for consideration on my blog.
I think there are times when we all fancy a pick-me-up. One way you can do that monthly is by signing up for a monthly subscription and believe me there are a lot out there to choose from. If you are someone who loves beauty and would be interested in trying new products then Roccabox could be for you.
So what was the Roccabox July box all about?
Roccabox July 2022

July sees Roccabox release a box which is all about products which will help you with your summer glow.
It doesn’t matter if you are lounging by the pool, hitting the beach, or heading for a city getaway, this is a box for you. Offering a range of products which will help get your skin glowing.
So what exactly did this box include?
Eyeko Spotlight Highlighter Pencil
This pencil highlighter is formulated with cocoa butter to offer a soft and smooth application. Lasting up to 8 hours in the summer heat, this highlight makes for the perfect travel companion.
For use: Apply along the brow line and arch to give that perfect summer glow. It can also be used on the inner corners of the eye and is easily blended.
The information sheet lists this as coming in champagne, however, mine was pearl so it may differ between boxes.
This full-size product has an RRP of £15.
Figs & Rouge Wonder Love Clarity Skin Perfecting Drops
If you are looking for a summer serum that offers it all then the perfecting drops from Figs & Rouge could be right for you.
This all-in-one serum revitalises, smoothes, hydrates and adds that glow factor. Designed to be enriched with vitamins, hyaluronic acid, aloe and algae, it offers up a lightweight serum.
Usable morning or night, it helps keep skin clear from breakouts, while reducing dry, bumpy skin patches.
This is another full-size product, with an RRP of £42.

Blooms of Britain Rose Balm
This is a really interesting product as it isn’t actually out to buy yet, so its first people to try it will be via Roccabox.
This is offered up as a hydrating rose lip balm, which includes ingredients such as; sunflower seed oil and shea butter.
The rose balm is a full-size product coming in at £8.
Koha Beauty Sweet Dreams Mask
I really struggle with dry eyes, in part due to my keratoconus and I use a daily warming mask for my eyes. I’ve found self-heating ones such as this from Koha Beauty are perfect for those nights away.
This particular mask gives up to 30 minutes of relaxing warmth to your eyes and is infused with a subtle jasmine scent.
This particular eye mask has an RRP of £4 for one.
Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt
I’ve been trying different scalp scrubs of late and this one in particular sounds really interesting. It has been made to help cleanse and purify the scalp and it is suggested it is best used after a long beach day.
As someone who does struggle with an itchy scalp I find using a scrub does help calm and soothe it.
For use: apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp.
This is a sample-size product.
An extra treat of Dermatica Azelaic Acid 20% in a 2ml sachet is also included.
Overall Thoughts of the Roccabox July 2022

Offer an overall RRP of £78 I do this this box lives up to its name of summer glow. After all, it does offer a range of products which will help you glow across your face and scalp. All of the sizes mean they are perfect for popping into your travel case and taking away with you. Yet they all offer a unique way to have some summer glow self-care.
If Roccabox sounds like a subscription box you would be interested in trying out, it comes in at £15 + £3.95 for a monthly rolling subscription. Discounts can however be gained by signing up for longer subscription plans.
The sneak peek for August is BYBI Milk Melt.

This sounds awesome! I’d love to try this!
good product and nice information.
Sounds like an interesting box. I particularly like the sound of the Christophe Robin purifying scrub with sea salt. I have never used a scalp scrub nut it would love to give one a go
It is well worth trying one – I have a really itchy scalp and find using one helps keep it somewhat under control.
Any product that helps with a summer glow is wonderful. I love the sound of the Clarity Skin Perfecting Drops.
They sound great don’t they – Figs and Rouge are a wonderful brand as well.
Looks good for a creative project
I like these boxes,i used to get the glossybox one but i found the products repetitive and i had to give away the products most of the time to my daughters, this one looks much better
I’ve heard that about a few boxes where the products seem to be the same over and over, which is a shame.
Wow I really must try one of these boxes soon!
I hope you love your box if you give it a go!
Personally I’m not really a beauty or makeup(y) person! But there’s something about roccabox that really appeals to me! Although I really wish they did a teen (or preteen) version. My daughter would really love something like this but I feel some of the products are a little old for her.
There are some boxes out there aimed at that age – but a lot are around periods I think. Baebox might be one to look at.
I really must get myself signed up for at least one of these boxes, seems like a great way to discover and try out new products
They really are an amazing way to try out new products, I’ve found products I definitely rebuy from them.
The Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt sounds like it would be wonderful for my skin. I would love to try all of these products. What a fab way to try them.
It’s actually a scalp scrub not a skin scrub so you use it on the roots of your hair.
A really lovely and affordable monthly treat and a great way to try new products that we might never see on the shelves.
Definitely, it’s a nice present to yourself each month and a great surprise about what might be inside!
They do seem to be very good value with such a wide range of different products!
Definitely – each month is really quite different as well so you never know what might pop up inside.
Never thought of using a scalp scrub before! I didn’t even think they existed. I struggle with bad dandruff, and an incredibly itchy scalp because of it.
Might look into trying one of those scalp scrubs, see if it helps any.
Seems like a really nice beauty box. I like the sound of the eye mask – I suffer dry eyes, too.
Thanks for sharing xox
Definitely worth trying a scalp scrub and trying a few different kinds, I’ve tried some which I have hated and some which I have loved, so if you don’t like the first one try a different kind. The eye masks are great as well – as I use something heated daily I can’t afford to use these everyday but they are perfect when I go away.
Like a little box of sunshine – just can’t make a ‘box’ commitment at the moment
I can understand that – if you ever see a box you really like and can just do a one-off if you do the rolling sub you can cancel it after the first payment.
Looks like a massive saving if this value is repeated every month and it contains products that will be used
This is one of the lower value ones I’ve reviewed some have been well over £100 for the month.
WOW. Such a big saving. It’s like Christmas Day every month, haha. I think the one that interested me the most is the Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt as my scalp gets itchy too, especially in this heat. I actually had no idea such products existed to clean the scalp which I always wanted to do
Itchy scalp just drives me up the wall it is one of those things I can’t deal with, well I can’t deal with any itching at all I have to admit.
