  7. These all sound great, I’ve only heard of google fonts before. I don’t use any plugin though but good to know I can to make it simple when needed

  9. I used to have to know quite a bit about fonts to make sure presentations and pitchbooks used the correct font for the client we were working for. However, not having worked for several years, I have got completely out of touch with the range available.

    1. They really do don’t they – I like trying to get something that makes it all come together.

  11. I have been wanting to add new fonts to my page. A custom font like the watercolor font featured would be really pretty for subheadings!

    1. That would be so pretty! I would love to know when you’ve had a play and I’ll come and nose.

  12. Years ago when I was doing digital design I got a bunch of fonts installed, and honestly barely use a lot of them. Google is a great resource for anything though, including fonts!

  13. Fonts are a great way to individualize your site with custom branding. My wordpress theme came with access to google fonts built in.

    1. It makes all the difference, you need to make sure you use ones which people can read though of course.

    1. It can be so overwhelming can’t it? So many to choose from and you need something that is good on the eye and easy to read.

  19. I’ve never really thought to look around for custom fonts, always just utilising the ones available within the platform I’m working on. I must check these out.

    1. I did it 5 years ago I think now and haven’t looked back, I know it’s not for everyone but for me I like the difference.
