  1. My top tip for looking after your hair is most importantly treat it with care! Be gentle with it, use less heat and tie it up when you sleep!

  2. Only put conditioner on ends of hair and don’t use shampoo with silicates as it can make hair heavy

  3. When is the shower wash your hair and add the condition to the hair and put a cap over your hair. The heat of the shower will help the conditioner penetrate your hair.

  4. Don’t be to generous with the conditioner. It can make hair heavy. I have shoulder length hair and I use conditioner only every second wash. It feels much lighter and still lovely and conditioned.

  11. I shampoo my scalp only, then I rinse (the shampoo will make its way down the hair anyway during the rinse, but only a light amount), then I will condition the ends. That way, my scalp doesn’t need washing AS often and my ends won’t dry out.

  17. It depends on the hair: My hair needs to be washed daily and needs different things depending on how long it is. When it’s shorter it needs wax, but when it gets a bit longer it needs oil.

  26. Hot water can strip the protective oils that act as a natural conditioner. And your hair’s natural shine can disappear. Instead, use lukewarm water to wash your hair.

  27. My tip if you suffer from greasy hair is to not wash your hair every day. The more you wash it, the quicker it will get greasy!

  43. i actually find connditioner makes my air dry so onnce a mont i make my own mask using eggs beer and coconut oil its amazing! a little ard to was out thoug!

  44. Don’t use hair straighteners every day – If used correctly, your hair will stay straight until your next wash.

  45. If you don’t have time to wash your hair in the morning, apply dry shampoo the night before. It will absorb the oil in your hair while you are sleeping, and in the morning you will only have to do touch-ups and your regular styling!

  49. Mine would probably be to use the correct brush/comb for your hair type and to use your fingers to detangle when your hair is wet rather than a comb or brush

  52. My daughter has curly hair and I’ve recently discovered the curly girl method. I now no longer shampoo her hair and only condition it. It is so much more manageable and healthy looking now

  53. Hello, my best hair care tip is that hair doesn’t need to be washed every day, every two or three days is fine.

  54. Wash with conditioner first and then use shampoo. The conditioner protects the hair from the shampoo and the shampoo washes out any heaviness. My hair hasnt ever felt softer or looked better since I started doing this. Plus my hair lasts longer between each wash.

  55. I have been trying to find a decent brush for my shower but never known which one is best. I bought a cheap one from a supermarket but it really pulls on my hair and does not seem to detangle!

  60. Use a T-Shirt Instead of a Towel to Dry Your Hair. Wet hair is much more fragile and prone to breakage and the harsh fibres of a towel can be too aggressive.

  65. My best hair tip is once you have washed your hair, don’t vigorously dry it with a towel, either use a microfibre towel, or if not, use the towel but scrunch dry using your hands, it stops split ends.

To remove brassiness and yello w tones from blonde hair pop fresh sage into a pan add cider vinger and bring to the boil Stir the mixture is a lovely violet colour. cool and smooth on to hair leave for at least 30 mins. wash out. hair is a lovely blonde with no brassy tones,and its all natural
