Fancy Dress for Dogs
While I couldn’t dress Sal up in cute little clothes all the time (she’s really not that sort of dog), I may often think that costumes for Dogs are pretty awesome and personally, I have been known to dress Sal as an elf and Santa at Christmas, while she has been the wickedest of witches at Halloween.
I mean if the humans in a dog’s life are getting into the mood to party in fancy dress, why shouldn’t the pet in their lives get in on the fun as well.
Ready for next time I get the urge to get Sally looking a little different I’ve knocked down my choices to these great items:
Animal Planet Peacock Pet Costume
While I’m not completely convinced Sally can pull of the peacock look, the emerald colourings of this number just made sure it was in the line-up, as it is surely got to be one of the most eye-catching costumes, for a pet, I have ever seen.
Animal Planet Butterfly Pet Costume
Butterflies are one of those critters that are just so beautiful – this costume is probably one of the more simple designs for a pet, as it consists of just the head-piece and wings, so great for those who have to deal with a wiggly dog!
Where’s Wally Woof Pet Costume
If you are looking for a costume with a theme that could fit the whole family, how about dressing up as the Wally clan, completely with a ‘woof’ costume for the pooch in your life! Now you just need to find your dog once they are all dressed up.
Animal Planet Orca Pet Costume
Why not turn your dog into a sea creature with this plush Orca costume, featuring fins and tail, it includes a detachable head peace and printed eyes and is definitely going to make your dog the talk of the party, if they are walking around with this on.
Personally I think I’m drawn to the Wally costume most of all, out of the four, as I like the idea of us all being able to dress up under the same theme.

Too cute! My dog is not that kind of dog either but I love to see dogs that are! Some dogs really love dressing up and wearing clothes. It’s adorable!
This is such a cute clothing line for pets. My dog is terribly behaved so I think he would ruin all of these outfits immediately.

I love love love animal costumes and several of these are just adorable. Sadly, my Rina the Wonder Dog loathes wearing them, which is unfortunate because she is going to be my star model after I upgrade my camera. I’m just going to have to figure out how to make her love wearing them, uh – but after I get a lot of shots of her looking absurdly pathetic. Those big brown eyes slay me. Thanks for sharing!

These are so much fun. I can picture doing it for Halloween, or just for fun, but I don’t dress my dogs up much.. My little one is a girl, but I would totally let her rock the Waldo one.
I LOVE THE WALDO OUTFIT. If I still had my dog I would put her in that one. So so cute.
Those are very cute. I’m just not so sure my dog would enjoy these.
The Waldo outfit cracks me up. We had a reindeer suit for our little doggie years ago, complete with antlers that played Christmas music. I never played the music because I didn’t want to hurt her little ears. It was a cute outfit though.
In the winter, we dress my dad’s dog up to keep him warm. He’s a short-haired dachshund/Chihuahua mix, and he loves wearing his snuggie in the winter. We also put Halloween costumes on him. I love the orca costume, that might be this year’s costume!

Hahaha they look so cute. The only thing I’ve placed on my Gizmo has been a sweater for when he goes out in the winter. Besides that he hates anything on him.
Gosh, I love these. I have a little Min Pin that would look adorable dressed up as the Orca whale. He would be the hit of the neighborhood at Halloween.
I love the Where’s Waldo one, that would look perfect on one of my little dogs. The Butterfly would be a better fit for my little girl. I love having little dogs when I see things like this.

Okay, while these are SO CUTE, my Taffy would look at me like I’d lost my mind LOL I tried to put a rain coat on her one day and she pitched such a fit LOL I may try around Halloween, though, and see what she does! Love that orca whale!!!
