One of the biggest trends this summer is tropical print! It is everywhere from wallpaper to cushions so depending on your budget you will be able to find something. If you are looking to rent out your property, we suggest that it is best to forget about the wallpaper as it can be garish and not to everyone’s taste but a few cleverly placed cushions is a great idea. It isn’t just tropical flowers that are popular at the moment, also tropical birds and palm trees will make the cut this summer.

Another unusual trend this summer is dogs appearing everywhere! We have seen lampshades and cushions with man’s best friend on it, just to name a few. It is definitely a funky way of allowing your tenants to have a pet but better still there is no smell after a rainy day and a pooper scooper isn’t required!

If you don’t think you have the right tenant base for this kind of décor you could tone it down with some angular lamp shades to add a different texture to the room.

We have already mentioned tropical birds and dogs and another hot trend is insects. Yes that is right, mini-beasts in the home has become fashionable! Butterflies have been around for a few seasons but dragonflies’ ladybirds and bees are also making an appearance this summer.
