Even though your estate agent will be on hand to capture various images of your home, you should also think about taking your own high quality photographs to boost the chances of a sale. Use a mixture of wide-angle shots and close-up pictures to highlight your home’s most appealing characteristics. If you’re desperate for a quick sale, you might benefit from enlisting the services of a professional photographer too.

I look at real estate sites for fun all the time. When I see a house that has dark pictures or pictures of rooms that are messy (I’m talking unmade beds and laundry on the floor) I wonder what those people were thinking.
