The wardrobe of Scandinavian women has a practical undercurrent. This mindset extends beyond the beanie. In fact, the shoe cabinet is the best example of women’s extreme preparedness.
There are a number of radical ways that they approach footwear, that can be worn at any time. Before taking their first fika, people can be seen slipping out of their trainers, which they wear for their morning commute, into trending Bukela shoes in offices.
This does not imply that women from these countries own a large footwear collection ‒ though they occasionally do ‒ or that she sacrifices style for function. Instead, it refers to the fact that she always possesses a carefully selected selection that is appropriate for any circumstance, including an unexpected invitation or a snowstorm in April.
There are many different ways to style women’s shoes, depending on the occasion and your personal preference. For a casual look, pair your footwear with black jeans or leggings and a sweater. For a more dressy look, wear them with a dress or skirt and blouse. You can also dress up your shoes by wearing them with tights and a cardigan for a chic and stylish outfit.

- Chunky Chelsea boots ‒ Probably the highlight of this year’s autumnal and wintry sneaker trend: chunky Chelseas! In the last few months, it’s been difficult to avoid this particular style which features thick soles and high shafts. All influencers are loving them with this chunky look. We can understand the excitement because they’re simple, but anything but boring, which is a huge plus during cold months. Not only do they keep you nice and warm, but they also come in numerous shades too;
- Moon boots ‒ This winter, the fluffy and oversized Moon Boots are back in fashion. Even some of the world’s top brands are introducing their own versions of the iconic pair. Mix them with light prints to make your pair more fun;
- Chunky loafers ‒ Spring has already ushered in the trend of loafers – more elegant than sneakers, and perfect for summer’s shorts, dresses, and denim. Chunky loafers with thick-profile soles will be big this fall too (except the socks), but you can also show off bare legs under midi-length skirts and dresses.
- Duck shoes ‒ How to refresh your winter wardrobe this season? By adding a pair of colourful ones. They can be purple and yellow suede with a classic two-tone wrap and sole. These are the perfect footwear to wear with leggings and knitwear this winter;
- Rubbers ‒ If you’re looking for knee-high rubber ones that can work in the same way as standard high shoes, these options are for you. They make a great alternative to wearing tall ones with dresses, skirts, or other items of clothing.

I don’t know much about shoes to know what is in fashion and their names. But at least now I know that during Spring and Summer, the shoes we saw everyone wearing were called Duck shoes. And to be honest, I love a chunky anything. They are much warmer, resistant to wear and tear and make me feel taller
Oh I love all of these, especially the chunk loafers. A good pair of shoes and boots is a must.
I agree with Chelsea boots, they’re a must have. I’ve never heard of duck shoes but I want a pair! 😂
