Christmas with Wentworth Jigsaws

Earlier this year I wrote about the mindfulness jigsaw puzzles from Wentworth and was thrilled when they got back in touch to ask if I would like to have a look at some of their new Christmas collection.

With their Christmas collection including a wide range of festive subjects and puzzle sizes, I had great fun choosing some puzzles to try.

This Christmas Wentworth has released a wide range of Christmas puzzles. Which are perfect for giving as a gift, or having for yourself to complete on a cold Christmas day. I had a look through some of the offerings and decided to go for some fun, colourful and festive offerings.

If you haven’t heard of Wentworth Puzzles before, they are my favourite puzzle brand. Their puzzles are now made from a thicker 4mm wood, which was someone who struggled with dexterity helps a lot. What’s more, many of their puzzles include unique whimsy pieces, which are themed to the puzzle.

All of this comes together to offer a quality puzzle range, which really will be able to be used time after time.

So what puzzles did I get?

Who doesn’t love Wallace and Gromit? For me, it brings back childhood memories of watching them at Christmas. The puzzle I was sent comes in at 250 pieces in size, however, you can also get a 500-piece version.

If you look closely at the completed picture you might just be able to spot some characters hidden away within the pieces.

I love how this particular puzzle offers you the chance to put together some fantastic Christmas moments. The outer edges offer an easy way to start the puzzle, due to the green festive print.

The 250-piece edition comes in at £32 and can be bought now.

Pets on The Porch

If you follow me on Instagram you may well have seen me share Pets on the Porch earlier this month. I actually found it really relaxing to spend some time before bed putting together this puzzle.

Offering a range of puzzle sizes from 40 pieces all the way up to 1000 pieces, this makes the perfect gift idea for puzzlers of any ability.

I personally went for the 250-piece size. For me, this means the pieces are still of a size I can manage.

Once again this puzzle includes whimsy pieces which are in keeping with the theme. From snowmen to dogs, it is always one of my favourite parts to see what shapes will be included.

This puzzle starts at £9.50, with the 250-piece edition costing £32.

Polar Pals Cracker Puzzle

If you are looking for a quick and simple puzzle, which could make for a perfect stocking filler, then the cracker range from Wentworth is perfect. These small puzzles come in an organza bag inside a cardboard cracker.

This particular cracker puzzle has 24 pieces and I found it perfect for making when I wanted a few minutes to just relax and unwind.

Even at this small size, Wentworth has managed to include some whimsy pieces within the puzzle.

The Polar Pals cracker puzzle comes in at £10.50.

Overall Thoughts

Wentworth Puzzles offer some quality puzzles, which often feature irregularly shaped and whimsy pieces. I absolutely love the fact they have upped the depth of their pieces from 3mm to 4mm and feel I can tell the difference in the pieces.

The fact there is often a choice of puzzle sizes on offer means you can buy specifically for the level a person likes to do. I am definitely a person who likes around 250 pieces, as it means the puzzles aren’t too big and the puzzle pieces are a good size. While I know many people who would much rather tackle a 1000-piece.

If you are looking for a quality jigsaw this Christmas no matter if it is for yourself, or as a gift then I definitely recommend Wentworth.

  29. The Damson Orchard, Brockhampton Estate, Herefordshire (1000) as hubby and I usually do jigsaws together and we enjoy ones that have a lot of pieces the same colour as in this one. We are outdoor lovers too so the subject matter is very appealing too.

  48. The Christmas Contemporary Puzzles range has really caught my eye. As a nature lover, Countryside Snow has to be my favourite design. Love the unique shaped pieces which make the puzzle so much more interesting and unique too!

  156. I think that I have bought over 50 jigsaws in the last week as there have been some lovely offers around and these will be given to my wife and 2 children for Christmas and birthdays. Wentworth have some lovely jigsaws and The Puzzle That Is Mind-Numbingly Cold caught my eye.

  160. After many years, like many others, I started to do jigsaw puzzles during lockdown and I always have one on the go.. I love the Seven swans a swimming puzzle, it is a bit different to any others that I have and looks like a challenge, which I enjoy
