  1. I was in London last summer, we visited whipsnade zoo it was amazing my son loved it there, we spent the whole day and still didn’t see everything 🙂

  4. Our last visit to Buckingham Palace did not coincide with their opening times. What a shame!

    I certainly would love to visit London again given the opportunity.

  5. I think because I used to commute to London daily I’ve avoided going back as a visitor! But I used to love walking through the parks, visiting Chinatown and finding great architecture off the main touristy areas

    1. I can imagine if you have done that sometimes it would be a bit like oh no don’t that enough haha!

  6. Been to London several times, and have seen Buckingham Palace, be good to visit some of these other places.

  8. I’ve not visited London since I was in my teens There are some lovely places to visit there . I remember . I have a brother living in Dunstable would possibly visit sometime this year

  9. Great post! It’s been so long since I’ve been to London, but my favourite thing to do down there is definitely browse the museums and galleries, there’s an endless list of them!

    1. It is amazing how many there are to look around down there isn’t it and they are always changing so always something new to see.

    1. I used to go more when I was younger, used to go off on my own even – I couldn’t even imagine doing that now!

  10. I love gardens anywhere were we travel. I will look to see if the town has them and make sure I spend some time there. We all learn from these places we stop and visit.

  11. I have been to Linconshire, Norway, and Paris. I hope to one day revist the UK and Norway. Paris, not so much.

    1. Paris is an interesting city, I think a lot of people expect it to be more than it is for some reason.

  13. I won a trip to london recently and this has whetted my appetite for another visit as I only had a day to visit alsorts

    1. Ohhh what an awesome win to have! It is such a vibrant city, isn’t it? Always so much to do and see.

  15. My dream is to go on the Harry Potter tour in London. I’d love to go for the week so I could check out a few of the museums.

    1. I would love to go to that as well one day – I’ve always worried about my mobility too much to go.

  16. You have some great idea we love museums and The Tate Modern has some great exhibits. We really need to explore more of London though. We do not live far from Kew Gardens and have not been there in years x

    1. They have some amazing things, don’t they? I really haven’t seen a drop in the ocean of what is on offer.
