  3. I do quite a few of these for my daughters but perhaps need to think about my husband more. Even better, I could leave a copy of your tips on his pillow? We have a short video planned for Father’s Day as he will be away from 2 of our children.

  12. I use to leave love notes for my husband all the time. Now that he passed away, I leave extra special notes for our children. Sometimes I add pictures or funny things dad would say. Love your other suggestions too.

  30. i barely say those words but i do show it to the ones i love (family, closest friends) with actions. being there when they need you, helping them when necessary, buying random gifts “just because”..

  42. Actions truly do speak louder than words! I think it’s important to show people that you really do love them, but I also think it’s important to say it. Life can be long or short. Tomorrow isn’t promised…. I can’t imagine a day going without telling my son how much I love him. He knows it and I show it, but I still have to say it.

    My dad wakes up with my step mom. I think this is just a great gesture. He is retired and she gets up at 4:30/5am and my dad gets up with her and puts coffee on and gets the day started with her. =D

  43. I try to listen more and give those I love my undivided attention. If you truly love someone, you should show them. I also love giving small gifts just because.
