X Muse Vodka Review
PR Samples – I was kindly sent a bottle of X Muse Vodka for consideration on my blog.
Are you looking for a new tipple to enjoy, do you love a good Vodka? Would you like to try one made right here in the UK, that offers a unique smooth flavour? Then let me introduce you to X Muse.
X Muse Vodka

While Scotland is known for its spirit-making, it isn’t normally vodka. However, X Muse (pronounced Tenth Muse) is here to show you just how well they can make it.
Offering a unique barley-blended vodka (the first from Scotland) it draws on both traditional and new methods of making spirits. X Muse uses two varieties of heritage barley within its blend and also draws water from the ancient aquifer at the heart of Jupiter Artland. It is partly due to this exceptionally pure water that X Muse has its flavour. While the bottle draws its look from the art piece Cells of Life which was once a part of the estate.
You may have realised that the name links to Greek Mythology, where there were 9 muses who sparked art and creativity. The tenth muse however is unnamed, unknown, representing all that is unseen and unknown. For others, she is seen as the muse above all muses who pushes us towards perfect harmony and balance.
It is from these ideas that X Muse sees its vodka, from the writing hidden under its wax seal which says; Plura Latent, Quam Patent (more is hidden than revealed), to its ingredients and flavour working in perfect harmony.
Incredibly X Muse took three years to create, although when you look through its story, the amount of thought that has gone into the bringing together of the blend, the art and the creativity behind it, it is of little surprise.
What We Thought of X Muse.

I think I’ve mentioned before that I don’t drink alcohol. However, I have a few people I can call on when I need alcohol reviewing. In fact, they have turned into quite a pair of connoisseurs over the years. I have even been asked lately when the next bottle was to be expected. Luckily they didn’t have to wait too long as X Muse was on the way.
A crystal clear vodka, which is perfect for drinking alone, or mixing X Muse really offers something different. With a smooth texture and aromatic flavour, it is one to not be missed.
If you would like an idea to taste, I’ve been told that serving it with a slice of lemon, chilled sparkling elderflower pressé and topped off with a small dash of peach liqueur is a must.
X Muse Vodka is available to buy now at the X Muse website, Amazon (affiliate link) and a range of drink retailers, where it comes at £55 for 70cl.

Vodka is the perfect refreshing drink at the end of a busy day. It combines with a range of other mixers which I love. I remember my teenage days when Vodka and lime was my favourite tipple, happy memories. i would share with my partner who adores vodka and cola.
An amusing little tipple!
As a fan of Greek mythology this looks like a really cool product. I would love to win to give it a try or perhaps gift it to my Scottish Grandparents who love a tipple!
There is nothing quite so refreshing as a Vodka and Tonic in the evening.
I’d love to try it because I love the shape of the bottle and vodka and coke takes me back to my youth. I’d share it with friends at New year.
If it can match the Scottish whisky production I’m sure it’ll be a winner. I’d love a few drinks with my sister over the New Year.
I do enjoy a vodka and coke with a slice
I am loving that this is a first from Scotland and really like the idea of finding a beautiful vodka for those film nights with my husband without the feelings of guilt about the air miles and carbon footprint that it has had with being in Scotland also.
Also love the thought that this has been created with pure water from the ancient aquifer at Scotland’s Bonnington Estate.
Lovely that it has hints of cider and apple pie. I would love to try this with a nice lemonade on ice.
A lovely background story – and some very clever marketing! It appeals, of course, and I would enjoy it with visitors.
I’d love to try Muse Vodka as I’m always open to trying new things! I’d drink it with lemonade
