The main culprit is the greenhouse effect. Sunlight passes straight through the glass or polycarbonate roof, hits your floor and furniture, and turns into heat. Think about how you want to use the space. If you want it bright and you’re happy with a softer, diffused light, an opal twinwall roof does the job for less.
