Why Holidaying in a 6 Berth Caravan is the Perfect Future Plan
Sponsored Post by Bailey’s of Bristol.
Are you dreaming of the days we can head off on holiday again? Then how about turning your mind to planning a caravan holiday for when we come out of lockdown.

It might be a while until you can travel again, but that makes now the perfect time to think about buying a caravan in preparation for when you can. With holidays abroad being an uncertainty for the foreseeable future, there are so many things you could plan to do and see right here in the UK. Many of which can be reached with ease and offer the chance to stay in a caravan.
Caravans have long offered the perfect getaway. However, 2020 is shining a new view of this much loved holiday home.
So, which caravan is right for you and why should you think about turning to UK caravan holidays for future adventures? This post looks into this topic.
Why a 6 Berth Caravan?
Their 6 berth caravans, in particular, make for the perfect family option. With a choice of floor plans which offer a dedicated children’s room, or a double bedroom with en suite. While the lounge and dinette can be converted into double beds overnight.
Featuring a twin axle, these 6 berth caravans are perfect for either touring post lockdown or being sited predominately at your preferred location.
The current ranges of Bailey of Bristol caravans are made using a unique Alu-Tech framework. This offers a more robust and durable frame with improved thermal performance to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

You can even take a tour of the caravan or motorhome you like the sound of, thanks to Bailey’s Virtual Showroom. This feature on the Bailey website allows you to virtually step inside a caravan or motorhome from the comfort of your own home and have a look around as if you were there in person.
Of course, once the country opens up again, holidaying in your own caravan also means you are keeping yourself safer in these uncertain times as it’s easier to social distance. In fact, it is worth looking into more information on social distanced holidays and how they can help you still manage to have family fun.
Holidays in the UK.
So you have decided on buying a 6 berth caravan to be used when holidays are allowed again. But where is the best place to head on a UK holiday?

Well, the answer is wherever your heart desires, especially if you decide to tow your caravan, rather than keeping it in a static location. This would allow you to really visit and explore every inch when we are able to travel again. Although always make sure you have somewhere to park and pitch your caravan pre-planned and arranged.
For me, the fantastic thing about caravan or motorhome holidays is the memories that they create. Even now I can remember heading off to stay in a caravan as a child and the memories of the swimming pools, the beaches, the steam trains and places we explored.
There was also always something different to see. No matter if the weather isn’t the best, there is a way to create everlasting memories.
Can you imagine heading off on a holiday in a 6 berth caravan around the UK?

I miss my childhood memories of caravan holidays. They weren’t the ones that we can travel around but more like in a resort but I still loved them nevertheless. There was something really cosy being is this caravan with my family together, right next to the beach as well. I hope I can relive these memories with my children one day
We have never done a caravan holiday before – you get amazing ones though!
It is definitely worth a try – they can be really fun to go on.
Wow! That would be an amazing experience! I’ve never done a caravan holiday in my entire life!
This would be brilliant. We borrowed my in-laws 2 berth caravan for the week and although we used an awning, it was very cramped and we found it a pain, having to convert the beds every night. I think if we went in a 6-berth with a double bed and extra room, we would have a much more enjoyable experience.
Oh I can imagine that would be quite cramped if there were many of you it is such a shame.
Sounds great and would love to spend time holidaying around the UK!
Aren’t they fabulous? Everything you need in such a modest space and luxurious to boot. Yes, I really fancy a trip to the south Devon coast in a 6-berth caravan.
Ohh that would be amazing wouldn’t it – I’ve missed going to Devon / Cornwall this year.
Gorgeous caravan. Holidaying in a caravan was and still is, my childhood dream holiday. There’s something about stepping inside for the first time and looking in all the rooms and cupboards to see what there is!
Isn’t it a lovely caravan they have come so far!
We’ve been considering buying one ourselves. It’s so much easier to travel not to mention safer.
Definitely, I can imagine it would feel a bit like home too as it would be all yours.
We’ve managed a break in a a caravan the last few years and they are just like a home from home. I’d love to own one.
They are nice aren’t they always so cosy – I hope you get to own one, one day.
This would be the perfect holiday for my husband! And I promised him to try this kind of holiday. Thanks for these tips!
I hope you enjoy it if you both give it a try 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful holiday idea looks so relaxing and has everything you need. I can’t wait to go on holiday again.
I know – I have missed just having a small getaway this year.
I wish that I had a small camper so that we could go camping or on a small road trip. It would be fun just to get away. I’m wanting to take my son to Colorado one year.
I hope you manage to get away somehow and perhaps get a caravan or camper to go in!
Sounds great, this looks a fab campervan, its great for going somewhere on a whim
Wow that looks fun and it’s already giving me an excitement. That’s a one way to spend really good times. My family would be thrilled to spend our holiday with this caravan.
I hope one day you get to enjoy some time in a caravan and have an amazing time.
This looks like a lovely camper! We had a VW camper when I was a kid and eventually got a larger RV. It was a wonderful way to travel, especially since we were a family of 6. This looks like a lovely camper!
Oh wow, I can imagine that was a lovely way to see different places as a child and created some amazing memories.
That really does sound great. My kids would probably really love this as well. I’ll have to think about this for next time.
Honestly, I have some lovely memories from going on caravan holidays as a kid – there’s something special about it.
I’ve never been on a caravan holiday however my nana has a static caravan she lives in during the summer months and I remember when I was a little girl I used to love going to stay overnight.
Aww I bet that was lovely – sounds like you have some nice memories of it.
We have never tried being in one of those but we do love road trippin’ so I think it would be fun to have that.
If you like heading off on road trips it would be worth having a look into caravans.
That would make for a fun holiday in the UK. I think a 6 berth caravan would be perfect for me and my family it would fit us all in easily.
Definitely, it is a nice size for a family I think and a lovely home from home.
My husband and I are still novice when it comes to caravaning, so getting good advice such as this is so valuable. We will go for a 6 berth caravan when we purchase one in the future.
Ohh how exciting I hope you have an amazing time when you buy one and get to explore all over.
I lvoe caravanning, my family used to go to Devon and Cornwall a lot when I was younger, so many great memories!
It is amazing the memories you can make form a good old caravan holiday isn’t it?
This sounds like a great idea to me. We always had caravan holidays when I was young but the caravans are so much more comfortable and luxurious than they were in those days.
It is amazing how far they have come isn’t it! It’s like a little home away from home!
When I was little we used to stay in a caravan at Skegness. I loved it so much. I have never been on a caravan holiday with my kids, so I must do it soon
It seems like it was something done more years ago and people don’t do it so much now.
It sounds so great,oh I wish I could have this in instant. ?
I know right I feel exactly the same – if only hey.
I would love to get one of these. This thing has it all!
I know right – I can’t believe how fancy they are now.
This looks so fun Caravan perfect for spending holidays with family and love ones. The photos looks so lovely!
It’s such a nice looking caravan isn’t it – I want to head off in one myself.
I am so ready to get out there and travel! Being unable to travel this summer was rough!
I know it would be so nice to just head out and do something now.
I would love to spend the holidays in one of these and travel to our hearts delight!
It would be incredible to do, wouldn’t it? Just explore wherever you wish.
I’ve always wanted to get something like this and travel with my family! I think it would be so much fun.
I hope you manage to do it one day – nothing like going away in a caravan.
Oh my goodness. I think this would be the most fun to do with your family, but not for TOO long! Such an awesome caravan but a little space.
Definitely, I don’t think you could live in one long term but for a few weeks away – perfect!
I never had a caravan holiday as a child, my boyfriend has and he said they were some of the best holidays he had lol. I think you could have so many memories and just go wherever with one of these!
There is something about them honestly – I don’t know what it is but they leave the best memories.
I’d love to head off on holiday in a 6 berth caravan! I really miss having our caravan that we owned – would be a great place to holiday right now!
I bet you do – perhaps one day you will be able to get another one!
I’d love a caravan but neither of us are confident enough to drive it. We do love a break away in a static though.
You can rent someone else’s so easily for a breakaway if you don’t want your own too!
This would be so much fun! I think it would make traveling so much better, plus no hotel fees
Oh definitely and you can come and go as you want!
I would love to get one of these. I think it would be so much fun to go on trips like this with my family. All of those options make it a great choice.
Oh definitely who wouldn’t like the chance to just get away from time to time.
I want one of these in the worst way! It looks like an amazing way to get away from it all. And I do mean get away!
It is nice isn’t it and the idea of just being able to take off is beautiful.
Yes, I’d love to do a caravan holiday around the UK or the US! Both would be fantastic trips.
Oh yes! Both would be so different but equally beautiful!
New caravans can seem so luxurious in comparison to what was available in the past.
We would just love to get a short break within the United Kingdom when possible. As missed out earlier in the year. Booked short break was cancelled due to Coronavirus / covid 19 Pandemic.
Definitely, it is amazing how they are always evolving and coming out with something new and upgraded with them.
Definitely – need somewhere we can take the dogs. It’s no fun if they can’t come!
Oh definitely we always used to take Sal on holiday with us.
Oh that would be so amazing wouldn’t it!! We love a caravan holiday, we usually go to Devon or Cornwall but haven’t been for a couple of years.
I love Devon and Cornwall they are just beautiful places to go to.
