Life Planners from Unique Planners: Review
One thing I am not good at is being organised, organised chaos yes, but actually writing things down in a fashion where I can easily find them when needed to.
One of must does this year was to get more organised with the blog and when I should be doing things. Sadly however, I am only just managing to get into the swing of that; I now have a notepad of incoming items and small piece of paper with my schedule on for the coming weeks, not really the best way to be doing things (Sally has already ruined one set of notes, by knocking tea over it). So that means in the long term., I am looking for a better way to do thing and I hope to do that with the help of this beautiful planner from Unique Planners.
One of the things that caught my eye about Unique Planners first of all was the sheer variety of ideas you can pick from on their website, from hard backed wire bound to soft covered easy to slip in your hand bag ones, they offer a size and format to suit everyone.
After a lot of thoughts I decided to personally go for the a4 sized hardback build your own diary; this is because I felt it would fit well on my side table and would offer a large writing area for all the bits I needed to scribble down, when it comes to keeping on top of blog work.
I found that Unique Planners offer a variety of ready to use cover designs, from those you can use as is, to those you can add your photos to. Alongside the ability to design your own from scratch should you be feeling creative. I decided to go with the readymade dog front and back cover and of course added on some photos of Sally.
When it comes to main diary area, I left this as they suggested and just added in a little note section onto each week to give me an area to brain storm should I need it. That meant, for me, the fun started when I got to the back pages of the planner.
The Unique Planner website offers a whole host of ideas for the latter pages of your diary, with many specifically tailored to different functions, such as those perfect for teacher, those to help with wedding planning, to those that include games and motivational quotes. What I really loved though was the range of pages they had for bloggers, which meant I was able to add pages to keep track of stats, post ideas, promotional codes and more.
The one thing that struck me about the Unique Planners website was how simple to use it is, it walks you through the steps in an easy to follow manner, so you know what you need to do and how to do it and as such you don’t get overwhelmed, which is a feeling I have felt on other websites previously.
Once you have put together the main bulk of the diary, you can then choose to add on extras, such as ribbon, inner plastic cases and more to help really give that finishing touch you love (again you get a huge choice of different colours, meaning the only issue you might have is picking what you like best).
I found that my diary was delivery quickly and without fuss, arriving in fact within a matter of days and I have to say I was really impressed by the quality of the planner. The front colour is wonderfully colourful, the inside pages and easy to follow and read and I just can’t wait to start using it. The only shame is that I didn’t start it sooner, rather than having to wait until the New Year.

These planners are really cute. I write my schedule on the computer mostly but I love being able to write down things on real paper.

I love how detailed and spacious the pages are. I cannot live without a planner in hand especially since I need to write down my itinerary for each day, week, and month! Makes me remember things better.

WOW love this idea. I am always buying note books and organisers but this looks like it would be perfect. Also would be perfect for my daughter who was diagnosed with MS earlier in the year (not for sympathy as she is ok and working at the moment) but her memory isn’t what it was and she keeps missing appointments so this would be ideal. I am certainly going to buy her one (and maybe treat myself also). Thanks. xx

this is a beautiful planner. I’ve never many time to have a planner but it really never goes how it was planned. I am used to using my Notes and Calendar on my Apple Gadgets that syncs everything.
It is absolutely gorgeous – so much you can put into it as well to keep everything safe and sound.

These planners look so good with such a lot of space to plan in. I use my bullet journal for things like items waiting for, invoices etc and a Google sheet for my schedule plan as I’m always swapping things around x
I do the same with scheduling that’s why I love this is so big haha! I can cross multiple things out and still have room 😉

I love using planners. I know that everything can be done on your phone, but there is something about having that beautiful book in front of me that makes me happy.

I love planners I’m going to check out unique planners as I’m in the need of a new one for next year. I only started using them in the last few years as I hate being disorganised and I’m better at remembering things since using one.
I think planners are good, I normally keep scrap pieces of paper around LOL and as I blog mostly in advanced it would be easier for a planner to have to check off. I might treat myself to one x
