Umbra Whale Ring Holder: Review
If I had to choose a favourite piece of jewellery it would be rings, for my 18th and 21st I decided to have money from all the family and put it together to buy myself a ring, something I could cherish and keep with me forever and of course a nice ring or two needs somewhere safe for them to be stored and this cute little chrome whale is just perfect in my mind.
Made by Umbra this Chrome Ring Holder has been designed by Sung wook Park a Korean designer who likes to express happiness and unique expression through all his designs. As a company Umbra has been running for over 30 years and distributes their home wares globally from their base in Toronto.
The whale ring holder is chrome plated and features 5 loops sprouting out of the whales blow hole which are just perfect for hanging either rings or earring from.
I’ve gone through a few different ring holders in my time and I think this has to be one of my favourites, it offers a sturdy base that is non-slip, and the 5 loops are easy to slip rings on and off of, in fact I had a bit of a battle with my Mum over this little fella as she felt it would look just perfect in her room (as of course I thought about mine).
The chrome finish is highly polished (as you can probably tell from the camera reflection in the pictures, sorry) and I really think it will make for a most wonderful gift for yourself or a friend (or perhaps one each as I’m sure once you have your hands on it you won’t want to let it go).

I really need this in my life! Every night I take my ring off and set it by my bed, but sometimes it falls off my night stand and I have to go searching for it. This would definitely eliminate that problem.
