The perfect toothbrush?
This month from My Pure I have been trying two fantastic products, the first is the Radius – Doc Multi Use Suction Holder, while it’s main use is of course helping keep your toothbrush in a safe place and it can also be used for so many other things. Some of the suggested things include; razors and wash-cloths in the bathroom, dishcloths in the kitchen and iPads or iPods where ever you need them but need your hands free.
This suction holder has been made to allow you to easily slot into place whatever you are looking to hold, yet once it is in place it isn’t going to move, no matter if you are looking to use it upright or on its side.
Personally I have been using it on the bathroom tiles to hang my toothbrush above the sink and so far it has thankfully held firmly in place and has even been easy to remove when I have wanted to clean, which covers both of my main issues when it comes to products like this.
If you are sat thinking, well this sounds like something I need but I am really not a purple person – never fear as the Radius – Doc Multi Use Suction Holder comes in a choice of 4 colours; grey, purple, pink or green and costs £8.99 no matter which colour you decide to choose.
My second product also made by Radious and perfect for use with the holder is the Source Toothbrush, this comes in a couple of different bristle types and colours, but I decided to go for soft bristles with the ‘money’ handle.
Interestingly each of the handles are named after what they are made from; money – made from old dollar bills, paper from paper and wood from recycled wood or flax seed.
I am known for being very heavy handed with my brushing so I went for the soft bristles, but medium is also available, as the bristles are replaceable (£5.99 for two heads) the handle itself is reversible making it easy to use be you left or right handed.
I was a little worried about the size of the head of this toothbrush, I find I need to use small ones personally, but I was actually surprised, the fact this toothbrush is larger across rather than in length means it doesn’t feel ‘big’ in your mouth.
Last time I was at the dentists I was told to make sure I brushed the line between my gums and my teeth more as I had a tendency for missing them, I do try and remember (honest) but I quite often fail – the plus side to this toothbrush means I don’t have to remember, as it is large enough to brush my teeth and that all important gum line all in one!
I have been completely converted so far by the shape of the source toothbrush, I of course cannot say how it stands up to the test of time and it will be interesting to see if I really have been hitting those areas when I am at the dentist next. If it is doing as much as I think it is – I am totally up for paying the slightest bit more it will cost than a normal brush for replacement heads.
If you fancy trying the Radius Source Toothbrush – with soft bristles, the toothbrush + 1 replacement head costs £8.99.
What do you think of these two items, do you think either of them would make a good addition to your home?

I love this as my toothbruth is in a cup and the bottom of it, if you take your eye off the ball gets NASTY. Such a great idea xx
I love the look of this toothbrush and would definitely love to give it a try.
This looks huge and such a different shape to a normal toothbrush but somehow it looks comfortable to use
I really like the idea of that stand. It looks perfect for our bathroom!
The fact that it has its own stand is a great idea

I could do with those holders in my bathroom 😉
What a great idea and nifty for using and leaving anywhere.
Loving the little stand it comes with, I think I might be tempted with this brush xxx
I love the design of both products, they look great x
Brillaint, I’m loving that toothbrush, I’m never happy with my tooth brushes, they are always too big but this one is wide rather than long which i think is perfect. Love the recycled factor too.
Would be good for my left-handed youngest kids and with the holder I wouldn’t have to be constantly picking up the toothbrushes from the floor!
I use a sonic toothbrush and wouldn’t be without it. I even bought ones for the boys
I love the fact it comes with its own stand x
