Are you looking for a new contemporary fiction read, that delves into difficult and sensitive themes such as gender, identity and mental illness? Then this book might be for you.
The Making Of Brio McPride

Sometimes, to heal a broken heart, you need something that completely changes your perspective.
No matter how many therapists they send his way, Brio is determined to prove to Lizzy that he’s not the one with issues, it’s everyone else.
Logie, however, isn’t your average psychotherapist. Brio, feeling hopeless, begins to think that this strange “narrative hypnotherapy” might actually help him uncover the truth about the father he never met. It could even ease his grief for his mum and resolve his doubts about his sexuality.
But Logie works for a powerful data-driven company, bent on pushing its AI mental health system at any cost. As Brio sinks deeper into the hypnotic pull of his “deepmind parable”, all he knows is that this journey will be unlike any story he’s ever written and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The Making of Brio McPride is a unique read that offers a highly emotive, coming-of-age story set across the Isle of Man and London.

Sounds as if this would be a good read!
This sounds like a really good read
sounds like an original premise for a great read
This looks really good, ive set myself a reading challange on goodreads this year!
This looks a really interesting read, modern themes and the scary AI factor. I like coming of age novels, although they are fiction, they often introduce me to different issues facing young people, and as a youth worker, this can help me support more.
Always looking for new and interesting reads and this sounds like it fits the bill
