Since we moved to the bungalow, I've become much more house proud, the whole place has a completely different atmosphere and is so much lighter and brighter than the flat which has really made a different to how I feel about the environment I am living in.
With this in mind it has been wonderful to add some beautiful finishing touches to the place. One which I was lucky enough to be gifted, from the home lighting specialist Litecraft, is this beautiful Terrarium Candle Lantern table lamp in antique brass.
This Terrarium Candle Lantern uses a mix of glass, brass and a candle style fitting to bring across a vintage style look. It can of course be used with any E14 Small Edison Screw bulb, but I decided to carry on the vintage feel by using a filament squirrel cage light bulb, which I have to say adds a beautiful finishing touch to it.
Due to the style of this lamp it is definitely more of a focal point, then something to bring brightness to the room, though is perfect for when you want a more subtle glow, such as romantic evenings and while you are watching TV or a film.
The brass edging of the terrarium not only helps this look like a vintage lantern, but also allows for an interesting pattern, to emit from the lamp, across any close by surfaces.
If you are worried about how you replace the bulb, never fear. The front of the Terrarium Candle Lantern opens, just carefully move up the latch to the side of the front pane and open the door, to get easy access to the inside of the terrarium.
Over all I am really impressed with the Terrarium Candle Lantern table lamp, it offers a sturdy, strong and stable design, which is easy to move around. The fitting of a bulb isn't hard and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I honestly couldn't be happier with it.
What's more at the moment on the Litecraft website the Terrarium Candle Lantern table lamp is down from £79 to £40.80 with next day delivery available. So if you are after a new table lamp, be it this one or another I can definitely recommend checking Litecraft out.
