Sudio Earphones Review
We get through headphones at a crazy rate in this house. I’m not sure how Ash always breaks them but one moment they are working and then the next there is no sound coming through one side. So I am always looking for high quality headphones that will last us a little longer and therefore save us a few pennies. Enter Sudio earphones.
Sudio earphones
A while back Sudio got in touch and asked if I would like to do an earphones review. Their earphones are designed in Sweden and are handmade. This is due to the ethos that the human eye can see and catch things that a machine would miss and as such, making things by hand is a better way to produce a product.
The Sudio collection is made up at the moment of three different designs of headphone; Vasa, Klang and TVÅ. Each of these are available in a choice of colours: white, black, blue or orange. Each one also have a slightly different specification. Considering what you want to listen to and how you want to use them will help you decide which of the three designs is right for you. They also have some true wireless headphones, Sudio Tolv, if you prefer yours without the cord.
Klang earphones
I personally went for a pair of the Klang earphones in black. I was drawn to this pair in particular as they are made with one side of the cord longer than the other. You can place one headphone around the back of your neck and then into your ear which means it is less likely to be accidentally pulled out. The cable length is also perfect as it’s just right for popping your phone in your pocket and the earphones in your ears. The remote feature of the headphones is made for iOS so they sounded like they might be the perfect pair of earphones to go with my iPod.
The Klang headphones come with a selection of four extra differently sized earphone sleeves so you can use the right size sleeve for your ear. This makes for a much more comfortable and secure fit than those which go on the idea that one size fits all and is something that I’ve not seen many earphones provide. You also get a manual, leather carrying case and metal clip. Yes, Sudio have definitely thought of it all. You can tell that these ear headphones have a great build quality.
Sound quality
I have to admit that when it comes to sound quality, I often don’t really hear a difference between many headphones so I always leave this to Ash. He said that they offer great sound quality and they are also noise cancelling headphones which helps with that. Thanks to the noise isolation they give a balanced sound. The noise reduction also means that you don’t have to have your music turned up too loud to drown out background noise – this would be great if you listen to music on your morning commute.
He wouldn’t usually choose ones that go around the back of the neck. However, he did say they were a lot more comfortable than others that he had tried of the same style and if I could buy him some with a bit of a different look he would definitely give them a big thumbs up.
For me, I think these are a great addition to my handbag. The pouch means that I can put them away and not have to worry about them tangling or catching on anything when not in use and they work well with my iPod. Plus, they look pretty darn stylish so what’s not to like?

Great review. I like that they come with different size ear pieces.. majority of ear pieces seem huge and don’t fit right. My cat just chewed through my current earphones so they are probably on their last legs now – so this is good to know

Great review! Headphones have changed since the orange foam ones when I was growing up. I never wear earphones nowadays . I always worry about not being able to hear what’s going on around me. x

I don’t usually prefer the headphones that go around the back, either, but I have a hard time finding ear buds that will fit my ears!
They do others that don’t go round the back and all have the different sized buds so worth checking out the other styles 🙂 x

Im always using earphones for my onlinne lessons. I could use a good pair too.
i have some similar headphones with the same type of wire which i have had for years now and are the only ones ive not ripped or broken so i know these would be a great buy because of their hardwearing wires

This looks nice. I like that the earphones come with a pouch. This will keep them neatly organized inside my purse.
I do like the look and sound of these ones. I also like the colour combination of black and gold.
It’s a great idea that you get to choose the correct size of ear sleeve too, I tend to find normal sized ear sleeves fall out of my ears pretty easily.

I love the pouch! All headphones should come with something to hold them, so they don’t get lost or tangled. I’m terrible about losing headphones when they’re just floating around, but I always seem to find them when they’re in something!

We go through headphones so quickly in our house. My husband doesn’t learn. If he leaves his headphones on the floor, the cat will eat them. so far he’s lost three pairs this way!

I used to break headphones all the time too. I am glad you liked the Klang headphones. I’m not sure I understand how the longer chord works, but I’m glad it helps.
I love the sound of these because my tiny ears find most bud headphones too painful to wear. I have to go for outside the ear ones, but they are bulky for travelling.
That is a really great price for a good pair of headphones. I have a Seinheninser pair that I have just replaced with the newer version.

We love music so we do look for a quality sound in both earphones and earbuds. I like the idea of a carrying case being included, it’s one less thing to have to find, make or buy.
My husband is headphones mad and is always on the lookout for new ones. Personally I prefer the ones that go round the back of your neck.

I don’t use headphones like this as I’m a bit of a techno dinosaur but my kids use them all the time and my son in particular seems to get through them really quickly as the wire alwasy seems to snap near the ear piece! I am now singing Su Su Sudio after reading this LOL!
I love the pouch, saves me pulling the wires when I’m searching for my keys. Next time I buy earphones I might try these 🙂
Great review. I don’t normally wear earphones I much prefer headphones. But for me it all comes down to the sound quality. I wouldn’t mind purchasing Sudio – Klang Headphones, they seem really nice. The price is a bit steep for my liking. But as I said before – it’s all down to the sound quality.
