Spice Girls, Walkers, The 90s and Now
Do you ever get nostalgic for the 90s?
I have to admit I have good and bad memories from this time, especially if you are talking around the mid to end of the 90s.
You may remember the time, the Spice Girls were HUGE.
All my friends loved them, I’ll hands up admit while I could sing every song and be often caught on the stairs with a friend signing, I was nowhere near the fan, others I knew were.
The Spice Girls oddly when compared to bands I did like more bring up more emotion for me.
Like I said there are those memories of standing on the stairs with a friend singing when she was due to go home. A memory which makes me smile.
I think there might be videos of me and friends signing pretending to be them, though I could always hope they have been destroyed.
Then there is the one that even now can reduce me to tears. Sitting in another friends house as my childhood home was packed up and shipped out on the day I moved from the Oxford area to the Midlands.

Of course, here we are 20 plus years later and the Spice Girls and hitting the stage again.
It has also been 22 years since they were originally partners with Walkers and now here we are with them partnered again.
Just this weekend we so the release of their advert with Walkers for the first time, with their top fan unable to give up a bite of their favourite crips the hunt for the real biggest Spice Girls fan began again.

Yes, always! I grew up in the 90’s, so I always think back to the good days. I absolutely loved the 90’s growing up. The Spice Girls were my favorite girl band too!
It was a wonderful time to grow up in wasn’t it! So much change going on.
I get so emotional when I think of the Spice Girls too! I never got to go to their concert when I was a little girl and it’s something I definitely want to do if ever they go on tour again.
They are on tour right now! Have been for a couple of weeks now I think, this is all part of it.
Everything in the 90’s was amazing. Spice Girls is one of the living testaments of the era. They are one of the best.
They really are aren’t they – everyone knows who they are!
I can’t believe that they are getting back together again. Okay, I cannot remember a single song from them but that video was so hilarious.

I loved Spice Girls when I was a teen.These are nice memories.It is nice to hear that Spice Girls are hitting the stage again after many years!

I remember spice girls. I love 90s memories and miss them these days. Wish we could have them back . 90s time was the best time ever.

Yeah, I remember when the Spice Girls were big. The ’90s were great! Too bad we can’t go back to those times… things now seem grimmer than ever.

I loved the spice girls! I saw them when I was 16 in concert but it’s all a little blurry thanks to 2 litres of white lightening with my friend. I regret that now!

I LOVE the Spice Girls. I wasn’t as into them when they were big, but their music totally takes me back and make me happy.
It is amazing how things can take us back isn’t it – even if we weren’t such a fan at the time.
I did have a blast in the 90s. I only liked a select number of Spice Girls songs. My friends were obsessed with them though.
They seemed to be everywhere didn’t they? It’s amazing they are making a come back.
I loved the Spice Girls too! I was sporty spice. I would love to see them on tour, I’ll have to see if they’re coming to my city!

I knew some Spice Girls songs, but I didn’t really know much about the band. I got to know them more when Mel hit the reality show scene. (What was she on? Was it Dancing with the Stars?)
I think it was – I have to admit I know she did quite a bit over in the US but I don’t know much about it!
I had no idea they were making a big comeback, but I love it. I loved their 90’s music.
It’s been people talking about their tour all over, over here of late! It’s crazy!
I love the 90s! I miss the days when there was no social media but just tv. I actually wrote an article called “Defining the 90s” and, yes, I argued that it was the Spice Girls that ruled the latter half of the decade.
I absolutely love the Spice Girls and was so gutted when I missed their concert last week because our whole house got struck down with the Norovirus. It was devastated

My teen daughters loved the Spice Girls. Man, that makes me feel old. I’ve heard great things about their new tour.

I grew up with the Spice Girls, they were my heroines as a child and I consumed their songs … hearing them again and seeing them again is pure joy! Ginger Spice Forever!
It is amazing how happy them coming back together has made some people I love seeing the joy from fans.
I loved the Spice Girls when I was a kid. Somewhere out there is a very embarrassing video of me singing and dancing to 2 become 1 when I was about 7/8!
They were a huge part of my childhood and I would have loved to have seen them in concert. Some of my friends are seeing them tonight in Coventry and I’m so jealous!

Oh my gosh my teenage years were in the 90s and I totally miss them! Something like this would totally bring back all those awesome memories. I cannot believe the Spice Girls are doing this.
