How to Promote Affiliate Programs without a Blog

How to Promote Affiliate Programs without a Blog

Many people assume that you have to have a blog to promote and make money online from affiliate programs but today we are here to nix that idea and show you how to promote affiliate programs without a blog. You can be successful in promoting affiliate programs as a means to make money online without even diving into creating a blog or website, here’s how:

Choose Products You Have Used or Like

To start out choose products that you have used or actually like, this creates passion behind the affiliate programs and in turn, allows you to increase revenue possibilities. When you choose products you have used or feel that you would like to use then the people you are trying to get a purchase from will hear the passion behind your promotion of the affiliate program and are more apt to click over to make that purchase.

Make Review Videos

With a Vimeo or YouTube account, you can start to make product review videos on items that you have used and found an affiliate program for. While this does require you to set up a video account on either platform, it doesn’t require you to have a blog setup to make money with affiliate programs. When you make review videos of affiliate program products you are showing that you know the product inside and out, which shows a level of professionalism behind promoting the affiliate program without a blog.

How to Promote Affiliate Programs without a Blog

Use Pinterest and Instagram

Setup a Pinterest and Instagram profile as a means to start promoting your chosen affiliate programs, both of these social networks are geared towards images and can help get you some exposure on the programs you’ve chosen to promote. Be creative with how you share images on Pinterest and Instagram, research popular hashtags for Instagram around the niche that your affiliate program falls under. With Pinterest, some affiliate programs have fantastic images you can utilise on this social network as a means to promote an affiliate program without a blog.

Partner up with List Owners

If you have connections to big number listed owners, meaning marketers that have a large email subscription list, partner up with them. Connect with marketers on the social network LinkedIn as a means to find people who may be interested in bartering with you to have you promote your affiliate program through their email list. Be certain to connect with list owners who have an email list that would actually benefit from promoting your affiliate program too.

There are many ways you can promote affiliate programs without a blog; you simply have to work a bit harder with a larger level of creativity. When you start to think outside of the box on methods that you can use to promote your affiliate programs and research methods online that have worked well for other successful affiliate marketing professionals then you will be one step closer to promoting affiliate programs without a blog and making money online.

Affiliate programs has not been something I have done. I really want to read blogs that say something else and not about some products a company wants promoted. I see this more and more.

Thing is you don’t need to use them in that sense, I often use them when it comes to say Etsy where I buy a lot of things then include them in my Lately I’m Loving posts, no one’s asked me to include them, in fact I turn down companies who ask me to just join their affiliate programmes as I have no idea of the product and use them only for products I know and love.

I would love to find out how you best communicate with companies asking for links or sponsored posts etc. I find they can be little demanding/rude and would love to know how you tackle this! Would like to start a blog myself but worried about the first few steps but your blogs are great and I love it πŸ™‚

    • Sarah-Louise Bailey

To be honest I don’t really approach companies myself, unless I have seen a shout out from them via social media. On the whole I wait for people to come to me and while some really are quite rude and will say anything to bring your price down you do grow a thicker skin against it and learn to roll your eyes as they will be saying the same thing to everyone else just to try and get a cheap deal.

  39. ellen beck

I didnt know you could do this. I remember some program where you earned from clocks and now the name slips my mind. I would love to make money without the blog and this is quite helpful.
