Choose Products You Have Used or Like
To start out choose products that you have used or actually like, this creates passion behind the affiliate programs and in turn, allows you to increase revenue possibilities. When you choose products you have used or feel that you would like to use then the people you are trying to get a purchase from will hear the passion behind your promotion of the affiliate program and are more apt to click over to make that purchase.
Make Review Videos
With a Vimeo or YouTube account, you can start to make product review videos on items that you have used and found an affiliate program for. While this does require you to set up a video account on either platform, it doesn’t require you to have a blog setup to make money with affiliate programs. When you make review videos of affiliate program products you are showing that you know the product inside and out, which shows a level of professionalism behind promoting the affiliate program without a blog.
Use Pinterest and Instagram

If you have connections to big number listed owners, meaning marketers that have a large email subscription list, partner up with them. I would love to find out how you best communicate with companies asking for links or sponsored posts etc. I find they can be little demanding/rude and would love to know how you tackle this! Would like to start a blog myself but worried about the first few steps but your blogs are great and I love it 🙂
To be honest I don’t really approach companies myself, unless I have seen a shout out from them via social media. On the whole I wait for people to come to me and while some really are quite rude and will say anything to bring your price down you do grow a thicker skin against it and learn to roll your eyes as they will be saying the same thing to everyone else just to try and get a cheap deal.

I am not familiar with affiliate programs as I haven’t started using them for my blog yet. It’s good to know that you can actually promote them and make an income even if you don’t have a blog. I think that youtube can be a great way of promoting links while having fun recording.

I promote most of my affiliates on Facebook. It seems to be the place most people are and it is so easy to click from. It works pretty well for me, especially with the new add product feature on videos.
Facebook is a great place, especially if you find a group of people after what you are sharing.
Pinterest is supposed to be very good for affiliate marketing. I’m just not good at it lol. I need to take the time to figure it out.

Affiliate programs has not been something I have done. I really want to read blogs that say something else and not about some products a company wants promoted. I see this more and more.
Thing is you don’t need to use them in that sense, I often use them when it comes to say Etsy where I buy a lot of things then include them in my Lately I’m Loving posts, no one’s asked me to include them, in fact I turn down companies who ask me to just join their affiliate programmes as I have no idea of the product and use them only for products I know and love.
I have been thinking about getting into affiliate programs and had no idea I could do it without a blog. This is great to know.
