Project J – Europe’s Hottest Jewellery
If you love jewellery as much as me, then Project J is a must add destination when you are looking for a new piece, as they have search Europe for the hottest designers and then listed them all under one ‘roof’ for your shopping pleasure.
The website is so easy to navigate allowing you to either shop via type of jewellery wanted or if you fall in love with a certain designer you can even have a nose through all of their pieces and perhaps find the next item by them, that is most definitely a ‘need’ for your wardrobe.
The people are Project J kindly sent me two necklaces from their collection to have a look at.
Gold Quartz Necklace by Crystal and Sage – £33
This beautiful necklace is made of raw gold quartz and comes on a 45cm gold plated necklace, featuring 5 different sized crystal drops of raw gold quartz, with each piece looking completely unique due to the nature of the material used.
It really is such a statement piece, which I think it perfect for teaming with your little black dress or for wearing with your favourite shirt throughout the day – the main necklace starts just below the collar bone line, meaning it is perfect for teaming with almost any length of top.
The necklace is made by Crystal and Sage a company from Berlin who makes handmade gemstone jewellery. The gems used in their pieces are sourced from South America, while the chains come from Germany so if you love pieces with gemstones, check them out.
Little Cluster Necklace in Blue by Wolf & Moon – £20
A mix of perspex and wood makes up this gorgeous contrasting necklace, the outer case is perfectly formed from wood, into which the pieces of perspex fit. This particular design comes in a few different colours, but as a lover of all things blue I was lucky enough to receive the blue option – which features a mix of dark blue, gold, glitter and pearlesque.
The chain on this one is 60cm in length and gold plated, meaning the pendent hangs to the chest area. The necklace in my mind works perfectly with a plain coloured top, be it white, blue or another contrasting colour, due to the length a higher neckline is preferable as you don’t want it go lost under your top.
Wolf & Moon are a British company based in Hackney, London founded by Hannah Davis, each piece is made in her studio, with inspiration taken from nature, art deco, patterns and travel, many of their pieces come with matching items.
So there you have two completely different, yet both utterly gorgeous pieces of jewellery, to just give you a taste of what you can find on the wonderful Project J website. Perhaps best of all is the fact Project J ship many of their pieces worldwide and you can easily swap between; pounds, euros, dollars and Swedish Krona so you know exactly what you are spending.
