Plan your perfect getaway
Do you ever sit and dream about your next holiday, planning it all out in your head over and over? I know sometimes I do. I can spend hours dreaming of the perfect sandy beach, fun in Florida or taking in the wonderful historical locations that are spread across the word and then I came across Amadeus.net; perhaps the perfect website for anyone planning or dreaming of their perfect holiday.
This new website is a brain child of Amadeus.com, one of the leading providers of search and booking features for websites. This new tool from them is designed not only to bring travel planners together, but to also help better their knowledge in how consumers use search features to streamline booking processes of the future.
So what is Amadeus?
This brand new innovative website features the ability to search for flights, check on the average temperatures in the local area, around the time you wish to visit, see the time difference, check currency conversion, find local maps and dialling codes and that is just to begin with.
I spent some time (OK way too much time) planning out some trips, everything from summer in Miami to winter in Rome and once you get the hang of it, it really is simple to use, each plan you make once saved can be set to public or private, as well as easily shared with friends or family. You can even ‘add’ public collections made by others that you may come across and love to your dashboard allowing you to take inspiration from others.
Of course one of the main features of this site is the fact you can use it to search for the cheapest flights for you, it does this by allowing you to check not only the cheapest time of day, but the cheapest day of the week, meaning you can plan a holiday that will hopefully end up a little cheaper than you may have been expecting.
Amadeus.net will in the future hopefully add the ability to search for full holidays and while it isn’t a website you can book through, it can be a very interesting and helpful tool in the process of both planning and booking your next holiday.
Personally I am looking forward to seeing what Amadeus.net have coming up next, oh and planning a lot of fantasy holidays, on this free to use website. Though I am keeping my fingers crossed they may add a social side to it, I think it would be nice to interact with other users of the website, share ideas and plans.
What do you think of the idea of Amadeus.net, would you like to use it to plan your dream holiday?
