Personalised Sherpa Blanket from VistaPrint

Father’s Day is just over a week away, taking place on Sunday the 18th of June this year. If you are wondering what you should get for your Dad or father figure this year, then how about checking out this wonderfully warm and cosy Sherpa blanket from VistaPrint?

You may well know VistaPrint as they company that helps small businesses create advertising products such as business cards, stamps, stickers and so much more.
However, did you know they also have some simple to create gift ideas as well? From umbrellas to bags and canvas prints to sherpa blankets they really might have the perfect gift.
Personalised Sherpa Blanket from VistaPrint
My Dad had quite a big operation last year and ever since he’s felt the cold and napped a bit more. So I asked him if he would like a blanket with Sally on for Father’s Day this year and of course, he said yes.
VistaPrint offers two choices of blanket Sherpa or fleece and can be designed vertically or horizontally. The main difference between the two options is Sherpa offers a matte look and a fluffy back, offering a softer, warmer and thicker finish. While on the other hand, fleece has a slight sheen to the front. However, both are 100% polyester, machine washable and snuggly. There are also 2 size choices to choose from; 127 x 152cm or 152 x 203cm.
Designing your blanket is easy with you either being able to upload your own image to build your own design or use a template to work from, whichever option you pick text can also be added.
I went for an easy design, uploading a simple picture and adding no text. Sadly I couldn’t find the best resolution I have of this picture however VistaPrint automatically tried to sharpen the picture and I think even though I was warned it could come out fuzzy it worked really well.
The blanket took around 7 days to arrive, using the free postage option – however other options are available for an added cost.
My Thoughts on the Sherpa Blanket
I was really surprised at how well I felt the blanket had come out, especially as they had warned it may not look its best. While the delivery estimate was pretty much spot on.
The blanket itself felt soft and warm and I think with use the back will likely fluff up and feel incredibly soft with use. I really hope my Dad will like it!
At the moment the Sherpa Blankets in 127 x 152cm are showing as £54.85 RRP and a current sale price of £32.90 so a great time to grab one if you think it would make a good present!

So many great things to choose from, but I think I would make a traditional photo book – we have so many digital photos with great memories…I miss having hard copies to look at these days.
