  2. I can’t remember what my first phone was but I do remember that it was very bulky and I thought it was cool. Now looking back I have to laugh at myself and that phone.

  3. My first mobile phone was a nextel with the push to speak walkie talkie feature. It was actually pretty annoying as my daughter and husband both could be heard talking out of my purse all the time and I got a lot of odd looks.

  4. My first cell phone was a BRICK from AT&T LOL But I was SO proud of it! I went iPhone about 5 years ago and haven’t looked back since – I just keep upgrading!

  5. My first phone was Nokia 3510i and I really loved the Snake game!! Now I’m a big fan of Samsung phones and Sony is great too!

  6. I remember when everyone didn’t have a mobile phone yet. I also wonder what the technology will be like in 15 years.

  7. Oh gosh, it’s been so long, I don’t remember what my first phone was. It was definitely one of those old flip phones. I’m so glad technology has improved since then.

  8. My first phone was a Nokia too!!! That thing lasted for such a long time…to the point that I was embarassed about it because it was obviously so much older than the ‘newer’ phones!

  9. My first was a Motorola V180 Quad-Band GSM! I thought it was the coolest flip phone I had ever seen! Then shortly after I got a BRIGHT pink Razr and oh my gosh, I was in phone heaven! lol

  10. I remember my first phone! It was the Nokia 3310. I got it as a gift from my two best friends. My family had moved out of town and didn’t have a house phone anymore so we couldn’t keep in touch (no FB back then). Wow seems like ages ago!

  11. When i was a teenager my parents put a separate line in my room so i had my own phone number. It was fantastic. When cell phones came out i did not get one until my dad decided to get a new one and i got his hand me down Nokia. I was so excited to have a cell phone.

  12. It will be interesting to see how mobile devices evolve over the next few years. It should be something.

  13. Oh boy, I have a landline that I never use because I spend so much time on my mobile, my first phone was the Nokia (the brick) in Zambia and in the UK it was Sagem dont even know if they make them anymore.

  14. What a fun post! My first ever cell phone was a Nokia and back then it was the coolest thing ever. I was in college when I first using them. That felt like an eon ago 😀

  15. Ah, the good old days. I didn’t get a cell phone until I turned 15 and it was a Nokia. Now kids that are 6 have their own phones. Times have changed. I love seeing old school phones and pay phones on occasion – they bring back memories.

  18. Gosh I wish I would have kept my first mobile phone. That thing was ridiculous! I really need to see if I have some old pictures of it.

  19. My first phone was a Nokia.It is so awesome for me to have because I travel a lot and know I can phone anytime I need someone.

  20. My first phone was a samsung flip phone way back in the early 2000.
    I hated it.
    I didn’t like the idea that people could find me all the time. Now I can’t imagine my life without a cell phone. Oh times have changed!!

  21. I remember my first cell phone. It was large and heavy and bulky lol. It’s amazing to see how far technology has advanced! I like my slim phone now!

  22. My first mobile phone was a Sprint and it was HUGE! I wish I still had it for laughs. NO internet, no picture taking and no texting.

  23. I don’t remember the brand of my first mobile phone but it was pretty small. The plan though I won’t forget, we had 60 minutes a month. I had to keep it in the car at all times and could only make calls if the car was broken down. So glad phones have improved so much!

  24. I think mine was a Nokia! I remember it use to have a push button side almost like a walkie talkie and I would try so hard to embarrass my little brother when he was with a group of friends by yelling into it 🙂
