Mother’s Day Gift Guide – 2025

With Mother’s Day just days away now you might be stuck trying to think of the best gift to give your Mum, Gran or mother figure in your life. To try and help you with some ideas I have collaborated with some great brands to give you some ideas for a gift you might like to surprise them with this year.
Women’s Forester Winter Boots from Helly Hansen
For the Mum who likes to be out and about Helly Hansen has an amazing range of products to choose from including these walking boots. My Dad tried a pair from the men’s range a few years ago and says they are some of the best walking boots he’s had.
The Forester Winter Boots come in a range of colours including this rose smoke option and are fully waterproof. They have been made from a mix of materials including leather, recycled polyester and polyurethane. For comfort, the heel includes a padded collar, alongside the HH® Comfort Insole and for stability the HH® Max-Grip sole.
The Forester Winter Boots have an RRP of £125.00 however at the time of publishing some are on sale for £63.
Midnight Jasmine from Yankee Candle
I think everyone knows Yankee Candles and probably has had one burning in their home at some point. One of their much-loved scents is Midnight Jasmine and I have to admit I hadn’t used it before!
However, this is the perfect scent for someone who likes the idea of a wonderful blend of water jasmine, sweet honeysuckle, neroli and mandarin blossom. Which I have to say is absolutely beautiful! Offering a burn time of 60-90 hours, the Signature range from Yankee Candle features a different jar design and two cotton wicks to join the premium soy-wax blend.
The Midnight Jasmine Large Signature Candle has an RRP of £29.99 but it is on sale at the time of publication for £19.99.
Lavender Hand & Body Gift Set from Odylique
Odylique is one of those brands that everyone should give a try, they offer a range of natural, cruelty-free and vegan products which are Soil Association certified and created with sensitive skin in mind.
When it comes to presents they have a lovely range of gift sets including this Lavender set which includes the Lavender Body Wash – 200ml and Lavender Hand & Body Lotion – 200ml, all tied up in compostable wrap with a lavender ribbon and tag. Offering a wonderful lavender fragrance, these products are kind and caring to the skin, and gently cleanse and nourish.

Floral Meadows Set of 3 Votives Giftset from JD Williams
This lovely candle set from JD Williams is the perfect set for many occasions, after all so many people do love the scent and ambience a candle brings to their room on an evening.

Pure Evening Primrose Oil Dropper from Efamol
If your Mum likes taking Evening Primrose Oil as a supplement or using it as a serum directly onto the skin, then you need to hear about this dropper from Efamol which will make the perfect gift.

Seasons Women’s Padded Jacket
If your Mum feels cold like me this Seasons Women’s Padded Jacket might be a nice idea for her to add to her wardrobe.
This water-resistant jacket is so lightweight, even with the fact it includes padded insulation and IsoTherm which helps you retain your heat. When it comes to fit, it includes an elasticated cuff and slighted fitted shape as well as a hood. This Moutain Wearhouse jacket is offered in 10 colours and comes in sizes 4 – 24.
So if your Mum is after a cosy, light jacket the Seasons Womens Padded Jacket is one to look at with an RRP of £79.99 at the time of publishing it has 40% off at £47.99.
Fleece Headband
If you are after something for someone who likes to keep their hair out of their face, struggles with cold ears or just likes to wear a headband when out and about then this fleece one might be a bargain to buy for them.
Quick drying this headband can be worn in many different ways (just see the tag when it arrives) and helps to keep the wind at bay.
The Fleece Headband has an RRP of £6.99 but at the moment it is 50% off at £3.49.
Raspberry & Wildflower Honey Gin – Ramsbury
For those Mums who love a tipple of gin, Ramsbury has you covered with their delicious-sounding range, which is sold alongside other spirits, beers and local produce from near their estates.
Ramsbury Estates is made up of 19,000 acres of North East Wiltshire, Web Berkshire and North Hampshire, from these Estates they started off with farming before diversifying, into brewing and distilling, property and education.
All of their spirits are brewed in small batches, with each one being distilled with their own wheat. This particular spirit also uses raspberry juice and wildflower honey, which has also been collected from the Ramsbury Estate. Meaning this is a really special gin to try. Apparently depending on your palette you may pick up on the raspberry or the honey when you try this gin.
The Raspberry & Wildflower Honey Gin comes in at £33.
VistaPrint
If you love to give personalised gifts, then VistaPrint is a website you should know about as they offer all manner of items perfect for giving and for business branding.
Personalised Mouse Mat
Perhaps your Mum works in an office and it might be nice to have a personalised memory with her as she works, or perhaps just at home by her computer!
These personalised mouse mats are 19.71 x 23.495 cm in size and have a smooth matte finish. When it comes to customisation the VistaPrint interface is simple to use and they even have pre-made designs you can choose to pick from. I personally went for a simple design of just a single photo.

Personalised Mug
Perfect for adding to the breakfast-in bed tray is this personalised mug, this time I used one of VistaPrints templates and added in pictures of my Mum’s cat Poppy, with a sneaky one of Sal thrown in as well.
This took me a couple of minutes to make by simply uploading photos and VistaPrint did all the rest of the work! As well as choosing the photos to add you can also choose the colour of the mug from all white to those with a pop of colour inside like the pink you can I went for.
A personalised mug comes in at £5.89.
Personalised Tote Bag
Made from 100% cotton canvas, these tote bags are great quality and come in at 34 cm height & width, and 6 cm depth. For this product, I used an initial template and yes my Mum did ask what is the M for.
These are perfect for those days out shopping, or for a picnic or well anything you need to carry around!
The Cotton Tote Bag comes in at £10.59.
It is worth noting with the VistaPrint pricing I have noted the price for a single unit, if you were looking to buy in bulk you do save more!
Pretty Secrets Velour Ribbed Maxi Gown from Simply Be
For those Mums who need some time to relax and unwind then this robe from Pretty Secrets at Simply Be could be the perfect gift.
Machine washable this dressing gown is made from 90% Polyester and 10% Elastane which come together to make a super soft, velour-feeling fabric in this stunning teal colour, plus it even features a hood! Offered in sizes 8/10 up to 32/34 this is perfect for a lazy day at home, perhaps enjoying a DIY at-home spa day.

Skin Glow from Goldman Laboratories
For the Mums who like a collagen supplement then the premium Skin Glow from Goldman Laboratories could be the perfect one for them to try out this Mother’s Day.

Dermo Face Rosacal from Tolpa
It can be hard to find skincare that matches your skin type and it is always good to know ones which are made specifically for sensitive skin such as this one from Tolpa.
This particular daily face cream has been made to suit skin which is sensitive, allergic, suffering from dilated capillaries or/and redness. It contains an SPF of 10 and works to even out skin tone, reduce redness and strengthen capillaries alongside moisturising the skin.
If this sounds like a cream your Mum might like the Tolpa Dermo Face Rosacal can be bought from Boots and has an RRP of £12.99.
Let’s be honest there are some Mums out there who would just love a little bit of money to spend how they like and with Prezzee gifting a card couldn’t be easier. All you need to do when you head over to their website is pick the amount you would like to gift (from £5 – £500).
