Luxury Champagne Afternoon Tea Hamper Review From Hampers.com
AD = PR Sample I received a Luxury Champagne Afternoon Tea Hamper from Hampers.com for consideration on my blog
Hampers.com are a small business and thus HFSS exempt
There are hampers… and then there are hampers that make it feel like you are part of an experence from the moment you open the box and the Luxury Champagne Afternoon Tea Hamper from Hampers.com is very much an experience.
Priced at £100, this hamper is made to feel celebratory and is perfect for those gifting occasions when “just a box of chocolates” won’t quite cut it.
What’s Inside the Luxury Champagne Afternoon Tea Hamper?

The hamper includes:
- A bottle of Autréau Champagne
- English Afternoon Tea from New English Teas
- Two fruit scones
- Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream
- Thursday Cottage strawberry jam
- Handmade shortbread fingers
- Clotted cream fudge
- Sea salt caramel truffles
- A chocolate loaf cake
Everything arrives beautifully presented in a traditional willow basket, which is sturdy enough to reuse afterwards, which is always a bonus in my book.
Let’s Talk About the Quality

This is where the hamper really stands out.
The Champagne isn’t just included for effect; it’s crisp, elegant, and makes for that real celebration feel. What’s more, it is definitely made to be a thoughtful pairing rather than a token gesture.
The scones are fresh and soft, no dry or crumbly ones in this hamper. Paired with Rodda’s clotted cream (which is always a reliable choice) and a generous spoonful of strawberry jam, it really feels like a proper afternoon tea experience at home.
The shortbread was buttery and melts-in-the-mouth, it pairs perfectly with a cup of tea (and works well for dunking for those who like to – like me.
The fudge and truffles added a richer finish without tipping into sickly territory, and even the chocolate loaf cake had that indulgent feel you want from something labelled luxury.
Nothing included felt like filler, every item earned its place in the basket and helped it ll come together to feel like a wonderful afternoon tea.
Is It Good Value?

At £100, this isn’t an everyday purchase, but when you break it down:
- Champagne alone accounts for a decent portion of the price
- You’re getting premium branded items
- The presentation is gift-ready
- It easily serves two (generously), possibly four with lighter portions
Compared to booking afternoon tea somewhere (plus drinks), it actually stacks up surprisingly well, especially if you want the experience at home without the travel, noise or time constraints (and this is a huge one for me as I really struggle in busy, noisy places).
Who Is It Best For?
This works particularly well for:
- Anniversaries
- Significant birthdays
- Mother’s Day
- A romantic at-home celebration
- A thoughtful thank-you gift
It feels traditional, classic and slightly indulgent, think British afternoon tea, but elevated and at home.
Pros & Cons

Pros
- High quality – from items to presentation
- A nice bottle of Champagne
- Well-balanced and thought-out items
- Beautiful presentation
- Reusable basket
Cons
- Premium price point
- Best suited for 2 people (not ideal for larger gatherings unless supplemented)
Final Thoughts
The Luxury Champagne Afternoon Tea Hamper from Hampers.com feels well-presented, generous, and indulgent.
Personally, I love that it feels curated, with every item working together to create a full experience rather than a collection of random treats, as can sometimes be the case with hamper gifts.
If you’re looking to make someone feel genuinely spoiled or you simply want to create a special afternoon at home, this is one of those gifts that is perfect for the occasion.
