  5. I can’t wait to visit my salon again! My husband and I aren’t going to stop wearing masks anytime soon! Yeah people do stare at us when we go to Sainsbury (our only outing place for now) but I give them the look – MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS 😜I am just praying everything gets back to fully normal asap with 0 deaths/infection rate😞

    1. Exactly it shouldn’t matter, you are protecting yourself and others! I am glad people are still choosing to wear one!

  6. Numbers are going way back up here, so I’m starting to feel anxious, especially about the start of the school year. I try to tell myself not to get caught up in worrying because it is not something I can control.

    1. It is worrying isn’t it how they are starting to go up again. I really hope we can somehow get ontop of this all.

  7. I can totally relate to panic buying. Hahaha! During the first lockdown, I bought two-months worth of food for myself and my parents (and medicines). I kind of overspent and almost exceeded my budget. I learned my lesson though!

    1. Bless I think it is something so many of us did – it seems like a good idea at the time!

  8. Right now we all live uncertain times. Everything can change in one day or even hours. That’s why I don’t travel outside my country for the moment!

    1. Definitely, I don’t think any of us quite know what to accept over the coming weeks and months.

  9. It’s nice to hear everyone’s experiences on this. When it first started, I think people were panicking so much. It was really hard to see everything in stores being wiped out too.

  10. Panic buying was literally the worst – I found it so hard when suddenly things weren’t in shops and it brought a lot of fear into people.

    1. It really was – it was crazy how hard it was to get hold of some things for people! I remember my parents brining us some loo roll and leaving them on the doorstep.

  11. We’ve been having endless lockdowns in my country so I’m kinda missing what it is to be in a post-lockdown situation.

    1. Oh no, I am so sorry you are having that. I don’t think we have done the right thing coming out of every restriction completely no social distancing, no masks it is worrying.

  12. I love to hear everyone’s different experiences with this weird time. It’s amazing how much these last few years have changed so many lives forever.

  13. I remembered that time when there’s no place I could buy a single bottle of isopropyl alcohol. It really sucks.

  14. For me, it isn’t really so much the heat itself, but the humidity that often accompanies it which is bothersome. My perfect summer’s day would be a sunny day at 24 Celsius and average humidity. 🙂

  15. Things have opened up here but the schools just announced that kids will have to wear a mask if they don’t get the shot. So my boys want the shot.

    1. Ekk they have removed all need for masks here which just seems crazy to me – jabbed or not.

  16. The pandemic has not ended but it is winding down and we are getting used to lifein this time period. As like before we are doing well, no covid and my kids are out of the house doing various things so it is giving me and my husband a preview of empty nesting.

  17. I have been struggling with the heat as well, am very jealous you have had your hair cut, mine desperately needs doing. I could not believe the panic buying again, For years I have been buying various things in bulk loo rolls included so am well stocked but did feel embarrassed at this when I had my first delivery after all the loo roll saga last year

    1. If you were nearby you could come over and we could have drinks in the garden and get the lovely Donna around to do yours as well! She’s very good even gave me a pedicure in the garden today!
