J&S Jewellery: Create Your Own Necklace
Have you ever yearned to be able to design a charm necklace for yourself or a friend on a budget? Have you ever wondered how to create a collection of charms that mean a lot to you or the recipient without breaking the bank?
Well, J&S Jewellery might just have the answer. They have everything from anniversary gifts and party gifts to birthday gifts…and treats for yourself!
About J&S Jewellery
The company was founded by Norfolk sisters Jenny and Sophie Laslett. The two have amazing creative skills and backgrounds in photography and jewellery design.
All the design, sourcing, finishing, and photography for these unique gifts is done in-house and closely overseen by the sisters.
Building my charm necklace
I was given just £30 to put together a charm necklace from their website. I immediately logged on, thinking that once I’d bought the necklace, I would probably be able to add just one or two charms if I was lucky.
However, I was so very wrong. I managed to add six charms to my necklace and ended up bang on the £30 mark.
Charms include birthstones, letters, and symbols.
To start building your necklace, you need to choose a necklace style, length, and plating.
The charms you add to the chain will have the same plating as the necklace. However, this won’t impact on the price.
Of course, I went for silver as I often do with jewellery. To my satellite chain, I added (from left to right): North Star (£4), Initial Charm Disk (£2.50), Chakra Charm (£4), Birthstone Small Crystal Star (£2.50), Angel Wing Right Charm (£3.50), and Crystal Sun Charm (£3.50).
Personally, I am thrilled with how the necklace turned out. I was surprised at how nice the charms were and how well-made they felt.
The stones included sit well in each charm and don’t feel loose at all. When it comes to the overall look, the charms hang beautifully on the necklace, with each of them being easy to take off.
I could change the setup day by day, making it look like I had many more necklaces in my collection than I actually do.
If I were thinking of getting jewellery gifts for friends and had a small budget yet still wanted something with the wow factor, I would definitely look at getting them something from the J&S Jewellery website. They also have gift cards available so you can treat a friend or family member.

WOW I’m in love with that North Star charm! I work on a laptop all day so charm bracelets are no good for me – these seem like an amazing alternative.
