Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone Pampering Facial Wipes: Review
Johnson’s have recently given their facial wipes a bit of a makeover and have come out with a set of wipes with each having a slightly different effect on the skin from refreshing, to nourishing, moisturising to pampering. I was set the ‘pampering’ pack to have a try of and see what I thought of them.

The wipes are infused with the aroma of moonflower which is said to help calm the sense and prepare you for good night sleep. The formula is made specially to help you get ready for the night ahead, not only relaxing you with the fragrance but being able to cleanse, tone and remove even the toughest of mascaras, while of course being gentle enough to use around the eye area.
While I try not to use wipes too often some nights I just really need to be able to clean my face quickly and simply so I always make sure I have some sort of wipe around and I’m always looking for the next best ones to try. My skin is combination oily/normal, quite sensitive and prone to spots so I really looked forward to putting these to the test.
The first thing I noticed about Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone Pampering Facial Wipes was the fact that the material used for the wipe was quite luxurious, it has a quilted finish, which offered a slightly rougher texture than some wipes I have used in the past.
Interestingly the wipes seem to rely on their design and ingredients to remove dirt and makeup rather than being overly wet as I have found with some – with the bottom wipe in my pack cleaning just as well as the first.
The end result for me was clean feeling skin that I felt like I could rest easy in. Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone Pampering Facial Wipes are available in store now and £3.20 for a pack of 25, which I have to say is worth it as they are more effective than some that perhaps cost just a little less.

I use face wipes A LOT. I wear heavy makeup since I’m a Makeup artist so after I wash my face, I’ve usually got mascara to clean up. I’m wondering how these do on eye makeup? Especially waterproof formulas?
Face wipes makes cleaning up so easy, I’ve never tried this one.
I use towellettes for my make-up remover, and it is handy. When I am too lazy to wash my face, I just use this.I have not tried J&J products though.
I don’t use make up but I figured this is a great wipes for those who wear make up.
I use a different brand of make-up wipes, but haven’t tried the Johnson’s. Guess I better look it up next time I am at the store.
I never tried make-up wipes. I do use facial wipes when traveling. I need to get some of these 🙂
I will try these out, I currently use T-Zone wipes as they are the only ones that don’t irritate my skin. Simple wipes made my face swell up so badly, so much for them being natural!
This product seems like a natural fit for Johnson’s. That is a company that knows about keeping things moist and clean.

I always carry a baby wipes with me because of my son and mine’s personal hygiene use. pretty good and handy and cleaner too.
I had no idea they made these, I will definitely look for these, nothing like finding a new product from a company you trust.

I have been using wet wipes as makeup removers for a while now but they seem to be drying out my skin quite a bit. I love the Johnson’s brand. I will have to try these instead and see if they work as well without drying out my face.
Johnson’s is definitely a well trusted brand. I will surely try this. I’m sure they are great, especially when you’re on the go a lot!

These sound good. Johnsons is a great brand and I love their products. Have to say though that I normally use cleansing wipes from Wilkinsons at £1 for 2 packs which do a perfectly good job!

I love these! It’s so much better than using liquid makeup remover. It’s clean, easy and does a great job.
I love using facial wipes too especially the first time waking up in the mornings. Johnson’s is a great brand too.
